Tina Barnett had just taken her son's favorite cookies out of the oven, when she heard a knock at her door. Who could that be? She wondered. A car honked its horn from behind him, he realized he had been sitting at the stop sign for a few minutes with his right blinker on. He turned, then pulled off the road at a small picnic pavilion at the edge of the woods, near a hiking trail. He parked his truck and got out, beginning to follow the trail. About a mile in he left the trail and changed into his wolf form.
