Sam's POV
After my encounter with Matthew, I decided to take a flight in the foreign territory we stumbled upon last time. When I arrived at the destination, I saw the same wolf was there. As I landed, it shifted into a tall handsome human and something about him tells me that he is not to be underestimated.
"What are you doing in this territory phoenix?" He questions as I transform back. " Oh I'm profusely sorry I didn't realize I had crossed a border." I say. As I am about to take flight he calls out for me. "Wait, you healed me and I can see you mean no harm to my pack. Why don't we take a walk, I'd like to get to know you better." He says while scratching the back of his neck looking a bit embarrassed. He looked cute so I said yes.
As we walked along the border we got to know each other better, his name was Gio, he would crack me up and I'd laugh until my stomach hurt. "You know, I had a fun time Gio, I hope we can do it again."
As I turn to look at him, I realize how close we are, as we close in, our breaths mix together and then all of a sudden I am pulled into a kiss. Unlike any other time where I would have been repulsed, I actually liked it and was kissing him back. When we finally pulled away Gio was looking at me with an undescrible emotion.
"I... I don't think we should be doing this." I said as a I pulled away. "But it felt right. I hope we can meet again."
"I'll count on that." He says. We shift and go our respective ways, me taking flight, him running on land. I hope we can meet soon.
The next day I am relentless in training, I wasn't able to sleep properly and ended up srtaying awake all night so me being sleep deprived did not help their already pitiful case. At the end of it all, I was still cranky and this pack seemed to be hanging by a thread which made me more angry. "Everyone take a 30 minute break and we meet back here."
I only wanted to to lay down but my thoughts were stillplagued by Gio. While I was caught in my thoughts, Aiden decided it was time to sneak up on me, wrong move. On reflex I threw him over my shoulder. When I realized what happened I was pissed. "Who ever gave you the right to sneak up on me you could have seriously been injured if I hadn't realized it when I did." I scream while helping him up. "Uh, I'm sorry, I thought a joke would cheer you up since you seemed angry." He replies looking guilty.
"It's okay. I see why you did it but we aren't there yet. I'm still not comfortable enogh to let you do those type of stuff."
As he walked off I was still thinking of Gio and if just maybe we could be more than friends.
Sorry for the short chapter I've been busy and haven't thought about the book for a while and I'm still in a writer's block.

Gio's POV All I could think of as I was going back to the palace was what a beautiful person she was when she helped me. My thoughts were filled with her and the beauty I saw. It reminded me of another girl I had seen 4 years ago, I hope she is well. As I was reading through pack documents, my Royal Beta and best friend Andrew walked in. "Hey, man. What was with your escapade?" He questioned as it turned to look at him, "I, for some reason, felt trapped, so I went for a run in the woods, of course, in a more subtle form." With that, I turned back to my work in hopes of getting something done. "Well, man, when you're ready, I'll be here. I got to go finish whatever work you're dumping on me. Bye." After that, my thoughts were filled with the mysterious girl. ************ Sam's POV When I woke up in the morning, I had a surprise waiting for me. Matthew had decided that winning me over was a top priority and made me breakfast and left it at my door with a note. "Hope you have a
Sam's POV As I watched them train, we each measured their level of combat, and how each warrior fought and what their strong points were. One thing I realized was that there were people who were less suited for battle and more suited for tracking or other positions within the pack. We trained until two in the afternoon. After the training session, I warned them that if anyone was late to training the next day, I would not be merciful. I discussed with my warriors, which warriors should be reassigned to better suiting positions. As we discussed, Matthew barged in like a ragging bull. "Sam, I know you're angry, but please, I'll show you that I am the best thing that'll happen to you, just come back to me." I sighed. This bafoon had no sense of self-awareness and too much self-assurance that I would come back. "Matthew, don't bother, I already told you I would not come back to you, and it stays the same, "I HAVE ACCEPTED YOUR REJECTION, so stop pestering me." I waved my hand at Wil
Sam's POV The pack was barely able to run 15 miles, half of them fainted by 16, and only 20 of them completed the 20 but blacked out right after. If I were to define the pack with one word, I'd say there isn't a word to describe how pathetic they are. When everyone remained there, they were conscious and rested, I told them to pick a sparring partner similar in size who wasn't someone they knew. "Right now, you are all weak. I won't share any details. I don't care if you're a Beta, Alpha, and so on. By Pack standards, you are strong, but we are going to war with the worst dark creatures with dark witches backing them up they are almost unstoppable, so you need to train harder. This training will be rigorous, I will not go easy on you just because you are a veteran or a newbie. S be ready for it." As I finished my speech, murmurs broke out among the crowd, and Anastasia, my number one bully, called out. "Why should we take orders from you? You were just a little runt." As Anastasi
Sam's POV After my shower, I decided to work for a while. After I finished working, I went downstairs to eat dinner. As I was going down, I could hear laughter as people among the pack members were talking and laughing. When I got to the bottom of the stairs, everybody went silent. "Oh, don't let me impose on your evening, continue." When I got to my table, I was greeted by my clan. As we sat down, they started giving me the information I asked them to collect. "I went to the office and though they all seem to be working, the manager seems to be embezzling funds so, should I handle this on my own or would you like to do it Clan Leader?" I thought about it for a while and decided to let Alisha take care of this matter. "We observed their training, and although they seem to have decent attack skills, their defense is lacking. We might be able to finish this in a few weeks as long as they are not difficult." We finished eating and I made an announcement to be on the training fie
Gio's. POV It has been 4 years ever since that rogue passed through our territory, and I still haven't been able to stop thinking of her. "Alpha? Are you okay? You spaced for a while. Would you like for me to read the report about the meeting with the council now or would you have it read later?" My Beta Andrew asked. "Continue." I sat there listening to the rest of the war about the impending war Beta Matthew's POV After talking with Aiden, I announced to the pack about the impending war and that there were people who would help us out. After I told them to clean the house, I left the hall and went to the only place that might take my mind off the situation, Samantha's room. I went there and sat on the bed reminiscing on every moment I was with her. I liked her a lot when she was born but after what happened to the former Alpha and Luna, everything changed. I bullied her even when at the back of my mind I knew it was wrong. Rejecting her had to be one of the worst mistakes I
