CHAPTER 63

Jordan stared quietly while sitting at the dining table inside his spacious condo as Maya and Cassandra set up the food that they had prepared for his niece to take a nice photo for her social media content after recording the preparation and cooking process that early breakfast Tuesday morning.

After St. Claire had sent him a message that Cass skipped school to visit her father in prison, he had his niece moved in with them in his condo in the afternoon from the Cunningham estate so he could keep an eye on her.

“For me to find out that you had been seeing him is too much, Cassandra!” Jordan scolded her angrily when he closed the door to the unit. He watched as his niece just sat on the sofa quietly, something he was not used to. “He’s the reason why your mother died!”

“He just wanted to talk to me!” Cass argued, close to tears.

Jordan walked towards her and stood in front of her.
