CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR

The rest of the week flew by quickly, and it had been four days since I was attacked. I had called Robert immediately and had informed him of what happened. He was on high alert, and had increased the security that was surrounding the house with Levi. He had wanted me to pull out of the academy, but I couldn't because questions would rise at my abrupt disappearance. So he assigned three members from his team to follow me discreetly.

The bruise on my waist hurted really bad on the first day and I had been limping slightly. Elijah noticed and asked me what was wrong, but I shrugged him off telling him it was nothing. However I could see the concern and worry in his eyes. Though now it had been four days, the bruise was nearly gone and there was only slight pain.

"Are you nervous?", Elijah brought me closer to him and kissed my temple.
