Chapter 1 : The Escape

I ran, ran, and kept running in the forest until I finally reached civilization. I turned on what looked to be a main street, but I didn't slow down, until I was in front of a building with neon lights, I came to a stop, looked into the window, and noticed that it was some kind of bar, so I opened the door and ran up to the guy at the bar.

“Can I help you?”

“Help Me!!!” I yelled as I was starting to collapse onto the floor.

“Rocco, hurry!!!” Was the last thing that I heard before everything went dark and I felt a pair of strong arms catch me, then I was gone.

“Where do you want her Jonathon?”

“Bring her to my office."”

“Set her on the couch, then go get Mariann.” The bartender told him.

“On it boss.” The guy named Rocco replied.

A woman walks in. “Jonathon what's wrong? Who is she?”

“I don't know Mariann she ran in here yelling for help just before she passed out.” They both look on as I started to sit up. Mariann went up to me.

“Hey sweetie do want to tell us your name and what happened to you?” She asked in an exceedingly kind sounding voice. But as soon as I took one look at the man that the guy Rocco called boss I backed up into the corner of the couch.

“Jonathon I'm going to take her upstairs to the vacant apartment and get her cleaned up, on the way I will grab something for her to wear out of my locker, maybe she'll talk to me alone."

" Good Idea, honey. Hold on."

                           Outside Of The Office

“Rocco? What was that all about?”

“I don't know Maverick, she just collapsed.” Two men entered the bar.

 “Hey did a young girl come in here?” Asked one of the men.

 “No!” answered Rocco.

“Youngsters aren't allowed in here, so even if she came by we would have to of turned her away.” Stated Maverick matter of fact.

 “Thanks.” Said the second man.

“I wonder what's going on?”

“I don't know Maverick.”

“Weren't they Andre' Chavez's cousins men, Roc?”

“Sure, was Mave, let me tell boss.”

(Talking through an earpiece) {Hey boss, two of Andre's cousins men showed up asking questions about the girl.}

 {Ok I'll call him after I call Doctor Lee.}

                             Back In The Office

“Now what?” Mariann asked.

“Two of Chavez's men stopped in to ask about the girl.”

“No, Jonathan we have to protect her!”

 “I know Mariann. Go ahead and take her to the vacant apartment.”

“Come with me honey.” Mariann said helping the me to my feet.

“While you’re gone I'll call Doctor Lee as planned, but after I'll also call Andre' about the two men that showed up.”

“Ok.”

Maryann takes me upstairs to the apartment after stopping into the employee lounge to get me an outfit out of her locker. After unlocking the door, she gestures for me to go in first, following behind me she started to speak.

“Each one of us that works her has used this apartment from time to time, in fact before I started dating Jonathan I stayed here for quite a while. Now that we are married we rent it out, but when it is not being occupied whoever needs a place to stay uses it.” She explains trying to break the ice between us. I just nodded and wait for her to hand me the clothes so that I could take a much-needed shower.

“Here is an appropriate outfit and shoes for you, hopefully they fit. Through here is the bathroom, please help yourself to anything that you may need.” She says walking me to the bathroom. II go in and close the door behind. I go over to the shower and turn the water on the setting that I want, I then go over to the sink area and undress. Leaving my clothes on the floor I get into the shower. Boy does it feel good having the steamy water come down on my poor aching body. I washed my hair with the  Shampoo and conditioner that is all ready in here, then after rinsing my hair out I take the washcloth that I brought in with me and soaped it up really good until it was nice and foamy, I washed my body and rinsed off, I get out of the shower taking one of the towels on the rack and dry off starting with my hair and working my way down the rest of my body. I grab the undergarments putting them on first then I grabbed the long pink sleeve baseball shirt and blue jeans. I then put the socks and ankle boots on. I wobbled around on the high heels for a while before getting the hang of it and once I do I then exit the bathroom. Walking into the living room I then sit down next to her. (She looks like she has something to say.) I think to myself as I wait with batted breathe for her to open her mouth to start speaking.

“Hon, do you want to tell me how you ended up here?”

“Can I ask a question first?”

“Of course you can.”

“I heard the boss say something about Andre Chavez, do you guys know him?”

“The boss? Oh, my husband, yes we know him he is an ally of ours. Why?”

“OH MY GOD, YOU’RE GOING TO SEND ME BACK TO HIM, BACK TO DRAVEN!”

“No sweetie, we’re not. You are safe here, my husband will make sure of it. I’m Mariann Stratton by the way. You are?”

“Analina Wheaton.”

“Ok Analina, can you tell me what happened to you?”

“I have been held captive for ten years by Draven Chavez, he at first said it was to seek revenge on my father who took something that was his, but it has always been my mother and me. Then during my teenage years, he told me that he didn’t want revenge anymore that instead I am to become his wife once I turned eighteen. For the past four years I have been physically and mentally abused by him and the other members of his organization, yes I know what he does, I wasn’t always locked up in my room, that didn’t happen until I turned thirteen. I was then recused by his brother Ricco who threatened to kill anyone who decided to come near me, from there on out he decided to visit me every day, we even got to know each other pretty well that we eventually fell in love and he asked me one night if he could show me what love really feels like, I agreed for him to show me and we made love that night. Well not just that night but every night before him and Andre planned my escape which was tonight.”

“Tonight, he came to  get me leading me through the back of the house to what looked like servant quarters to the back door, outside a car waited for me with Andre, Zanders and Pablo inside. I got into the car and Andre drove deep into the forest until letting me out he then told me to keep running straight and when I come out of the wooded area and on to the main street to take a right and here I am.”

“Oh gosh, Analina he purposely lead you to us, he wanted you to find us to keep you safe.”

“Really?”

“Yes!” She said and at this point in time I just couldn’t help myself, I through my arms around her, because this woman right here is my savior, no her and her husband are!
