Telling Them About My Mate

Derek’s POV

What pain my mate was feeling, and there was nothing I could do for her. My heart was breaking with every sob that rocked her entire body. She falls asleep in my arms but she continued to cry even then.

“Derek, is it ok if we still come over, man?” Came Zak’s voice in my head. I wasn’t sure if they should come over with the way that Soph was, but I also needed to talk to my friends. I was at a loss.
