KIMBERLY'S POV

The next day, I woke up in a small house. It wasn't that small, but it had a room and a demarcation, probably for the sitting room. The door to the toilet was in the room, and I could sense the kitchen was around the sitting room.

I could smell chicken soup and I was salivating. I sat up and wondered why I felt no pain, and then saw that my wounds had disappeared.

Furthermore, I attempted to get down from the bed when I heard a male voice, it was soft and calm.

“It would be better to have more rest as your baby was startled over the drama you put on for yourself last night,” he said.

I couldn't see him, so I didn't know what he was doing, but it seemed like he was brewing an herbal tea. Why did I fall into the hands of a man again? But it wasn't bad since he knows I'm pregnant. No secret to keep anymore, the peace of mind I wanted to feel final came upon me.
