Emilia's POV

The Crystal Guardian’s roar reverberated across the Frostpeak Mountains.

Its immense crystalline body staggered as black smoke poured from the wound James’s arrow had inflicted. The brilliant blue light in its eyes flickered, and fractures spread across its shimmering scales.

Above us, James stood on the snowy ridge with dozens of Shadow Legion warriors.

His crimson eyes met mine.

“Choose, Moon Queen,” he called, his voice carrying across the valley.

“The Guardian... or me.”

Emilia's POVThe journey west took five days. With each mile we crossed, the lush forests of Elara's homeland faded farther behind us.Green valleys gave way to rocky plains. The cool breeze vanished. Before long, nothing remained but endless golden sand stretching to every horizon. The Burning Desert.Legends claimed it had once been a thriving kingdom blessed by the Moon Goddess herself. But after the first war against the Void, celestial fire had fallen from the heavens, transforming the land into a sea of endless dunes. Now, another pillar of crimson light pierced the sky.The Fifth Guardian had awakened."We're close," Aurel said, shielding his eyes from the blazing sun. "The Guardian of Flames is somewhere beyond those dunes."Magnus wiped sweat from his forehead."I miss the cold mountains already."Chloe laughed."You complained about the mountains too.""I complain everywhere."Even Elara smiled.Despite everything, our little family had begun laughing again. As the sun reach

  • The Lycan king's Claim    Chapter 52: The Heart of the Forest

Emilia's POVThe forest had fallen unnaturally silent.Only moments earlier, it had been alive with birdsong and the soft rustle of leaves. Now, an uneasy stillness hung between the towering trees. The Void King's voice still echoed in my mind."...Only three remain."Elara stood at the center of the clearing, gripping her newly awakened wooden staff. Green energy flowed through its twisting vines, bringing life wherever it touched.Flowers bloomed beneath her feet. The wounded trees began to heal.Even the frightened animals slowly emerged from hiding. She looked around uncertainly."I... I don't understand any of this.""You don't need to," I said gently, stepping beside her."Not today.""You only need to understand one thing.""You are not alone anymore."Tears gathered in her emerald eyes. She gave a small nod.For the first time since we had met, she smiled. It was a fragile smile. But it was genuine.---Aurel approached the ancient Heart Tree standing at the center of the clea

  • The Lycan king's Claim    Chapter 51: The Guardian of Earth

Emilia's POVWe left the Celestial Temple before sunrise. The mountain peaks faded behind us as our company rode south toward the Emerald Forest, where the vision had revealed the awakening of the Guardian of Earth. The journey was strangely quiet. No one joked. No one laughed. The encounter with Caelum had changed us all.For the first time, we had seen that even the greatest heroes could fall... and perhaps rise again. As we entered the forest, the air became warm and fragrant.Massive ancient trees towered above us, their emerald leaves filtering the morning sunlight into shimmering ribbons of gold.Birds sang high in the branches.Crystal-clear streams flowed beside the path. For a brief moment, it felt as though the war had never existed.Nerina smiled softly."The Earth Guardian's domain has always been the most beautiful."Aurel nodded."The forest itself is alive.""It protects those with pure hearts."Magnus looked around uneasily."I still don't trust a forest that watches m

  • The Lycan king's Claim    Chapter 50: The Path of the Seven

Emilia's POVThe morning after the battle arrived in silence. The Celestial Temple, once illuminated by radiant crystal light, now bore the scars of war. Broken pillars lay scattered across the mountain, and fractures spread through the ancient halls like veins across glass.Yet the temple still stood. And so did hope.I stood before the Altar of the Seven, the Seven-Star Crystal resting in my hands. Two stars shone with pure celestial light. One glowed silver, suspended between darkness and redemption.Four remained dormant.Aurel joined me, his expression solemn."You changed fate yesterday."I looked at him in confusion."I only tried to save Caelum.""And that is precisely why fate changed."He placed his hand on the crystal."In every vision I witnessed over the centuries, the Third Guardian was entirely consumed by the Void.""But yesterday...""He remembered his name."I smiled faintly."Then he can still be saved."Aurel nodded."So can the world."---The others soon gathered

Emilia's POVA profound silence settled over the battlefield. The Harbinger of the Void stood motionless amid the swirling darkness, his tattered wings spread wide behind him.His blackened armor still bore the crest of the Moon Goddess, though it had been cracked and distorted beyond recognition. The Seven-Star Crystal trembled in my hand. Two stars shone brightly. One had turned completely black.Four remained dark.Aurel stared at the fallen Guardian, grief filling his blue eyes."Caelum..."The Harbinger slowly lifted his gaze. For a brief moment, something flickered in his empty eyes.Recognition.Pain.Then it vanished beneath the Void's corruption."That name no longer belongs to me."Nerina stepped forward, tears glistening in her eyes."We searched for you.""For centuries.""We believed you had died."A bitter smile crossed Caelum's face."I did.""The day the Void found me."Dark energy rippled across the battlefield.Every Lost Guardian knelt before him.Even Noctis lowere

Orion shouted. The others responded at once.Magnus charged into the first wave of Lost Guardians, his massive axe blazing with golden runes. Each strike sent enemies reeling, yet the fallen warriors continued to rise as if death held no claim over them."They just keep coming!" he roared.Rowan ascended into the sky, his silver wings slicing through the darkness. Cyclones of wind scattered dozens of enemies, creating enough space for Lyra to unleash brilliant blue flames across the battlefield. The fire burned with celestial magic. For the first time, the Lost Guardians cried out in pai
