Darryn's POV

It’s been a month since we found the letter. Kaycie still doesn’t know about it, and I plan on keeping it that way. I am not lying to her. We all apologized to her for being such assholes after finding the letter. I have to admit the vibe in the house did take a dark turn. All of us were on edge, and we sort of took it out on her.

It’s now winter, and it has gotten cold. It snowed last night, and the city looks so different covered in a layer of white. I have to say that Kaycie has become a lot more confident, but you can still see some of her insecurities when someone says certain things. I have moved most of my things into Kaycie’s room. Our relationship is stronger than ever.
