POV Katarina

I woke up and looked around at the massive room I was in. Where am I? Suddenly, I felt a strong arm wrap around my waist and saw him. Alejandro King. It wasn't a dream. It was real. I was gambled away to a notorious killer mafia boss and I couldn't do anything about it. I slowly moved out of his grasp and got off the bed. I didn't know what I was going to do but I had to do something. Slowly, I tiptoed toward the door, then opened the door and peered out. There were men everywhere. All of them were posted throughout the corridor and all were carrying guns.

" Where do you think you are going, Katarina?"

I gulped as I felt his presence behind me. Oh shit. I was in trouble. Before I had a chance to say anything, he pulled me into his arms and walked us back to the bed. I slowly looked up at him, meeting his dark eyes. He looked upset. I just happened to piss off a murdering mafia boss. Way to go, Kat.
