Chapter 25

I tried to clear my mind while I went into my bathroom and got ready for bed. My mom was still in my room when I got out of the bathroom. My mom sat beside me while I crawled into bed and covered up. She stood up and kissed my forehead and walked out of my room, turning the lights out on her way out. I tried to fall asleep but my mind wouldn't let me. For I kept seeing Apollo and Atlas in my head all night long. I really need to call. I will tomorrow, I thought to myself as sleep decided to finally take me. .

The following morning, I woke up earlier than everyone else. I got out of bed and dressed in my running clothes and headed out the door, pulling my hair up into a loose ponytail. As soon as my feet hit the ground, I took off at a full sprint towards the main road. I could feel Calypso getting antsy in my head. I knew she wanted to stretch her legs. So, as I got further from the house, I let her take control. We were still in full sprint when she shifted into her wolf form.
