Sam returned to the office and got busy again for hours.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
She looked at her screen to see that the caller was Cindy. Then, she promptly answered the call.
“Hello, Cindy,” Sam said while she leaned back in her chair. It’s been a while since they last talked.
“Sam, I missed you. How are you? You told me you would keep in touch but if I have not called, I will not be able to talk to you. I’m so frustrated.”
Sam could not help but laugh as she imagined Cindy’s reaction while speaking with pouted lips.
“I’m sorry Cindy. I just got busy. I missed you too, okay? When are you going to visit me? You told me that you and Henry would come here.” Sam said as if she was now the frustrated one.
