SEBASTIAN’S POV

Blood pooled around her, thick and dark, staining her hands, her red hair matted against her tear-streaked face. Isabella stood in a desolate field, the air heavy with the stench of iron, her green eyes wide with terror.

“I didn’t do it, Sebastian!” she cried, her voice raw, her hands raised, trembling. “I swear, I didn’t kill him! They’re lying!”

Her words echoed, desperate, her body shaking as she backed away, her bare feet slipping in the crimson mud.

I stepped forward, my heart pounding, Maximus snarling in my chest. “Who?” I demanded, my voice sharp, my eyes searching the darkness around us. “Who’s lying, Isabella? Who did you kill?”

Confusion churned, my wolf urging me to reach her, to protect her, but the ground felt like quicksand, slowing my steps.

Her eyes darted, panic flaring. “You have to save me,” she pleaded, her voice breaking. “You have to save the woman you love before it’ll be too late, Sebastian, else you’ll live with the consequences—alone.”

VERON’S POVThe velvet couch sank beneath my weight, the dim glow of the chandelier casting shadows across my chambers, the air thick with the scent of jasmine and sweat. My hands gripped the hips of the maid straddling me, her back arched, her curves bouncing as she moved, her breathy moans a rhythm that fueled my pulse. Another maid knelt beside me, her lips crashing against mine, her tongue eager, her hands roaming my chest. I paid them well—gold for their silence, their bodies, their willingness to sate my hunger. This was my world, my privilege as Veron, Beta of the BloodMoon pack, a man who took what he wanted, consequences be damned. My mind drifted, the pleasure a haze, as memories clawed their way up. Elara, Sebastian’s mother, her defiance, her refusal to yield. She’d loved another—a weak, human fool—and dared to reject me, a Beta. Rage had burned through me, my wolf demanding her submission, and I’d taken her, her screams echoing in the forest, her body mine whether she wil

ISABELLA’S POVMy breath caught, my heart pounding as Sebastian’s scream tore through the sound proofed office, a raw, guttural sound that silenced my anger. His face twisted, his hands clutching the desk, his body trembling as he collapsed against it, his eyes flickering with a golden glow that wasn’t human. I froze, my hand still stinging from the slap I’d delivered, my tears drying on my cheeks, my fury dissolving into panic. What was happening to him? His knuckles whitened, his breath ragged, his shoulders hunching as if fighting an invisible force. My chest tightened, fear replacing the hurt his words had carved into me—calling me a fuck buddy, dismissing me like I was nothing. But now, seeing him in pain, none of that mattered.“Oh my God, Sebastian, are you okay?” I asked, my voice shaking, my legs unsteady as I stepped closer, my hands hovering, unsure. I’d just yelled at him, slapped him, my anger fueled by his cruel dismissal, but now his pain was a blade in my gut, slicing

  • The Professor’s Mate: The Moonborn Legacy   Chapter 29: Shattered Ground

SEBASTIAN’S POVThe cafeteria doors swung shut behind me, the muffled chatter of students fading as my boots pounded the tiled hallway, each step a jolt of rage that I couldn’t shake. Caleb’s hand on Isabella’s shoulder, his arm draped around her, her body close to his—it burned into my retinas, a scene that twisted my gut and set Maximus snarling, his claws raking at my chest. Jealousy surged, hot and bitter, a wildfire I didn’t understand. Why did I care? Why did the sight of her with him make me want to tear the walls down, to rip his hands off her and claim her as mine? She wasn’t mine—not really. Last night’s fire—her lips on mine, her hands gripping me, our bodies moving as one—was just a moment, a reckless surrender to the mate bond, not a promise. I wasn’t here for love, for her. I was here for the Moonborn, to break the curse that gnawed at my bones, not to fall into some twisted love triangle the moon goddess had orchestrated.I shoved through the crowded halls of Crestwoo

ISABELLA’S POVMy legs wobbled as I stood in my basement room, the damp air clinging to my skin, the faint hum of the flickering bulb above a stark reminder of my reality. Sebastian had just vanished through the portal door, his warm hand slipping from mine, leaving me alone in the dim, cramped space I called home. My body ached, my thighs trembling, my core sore from last night’s marathon with him—his lips on mine, his teeth grazing my skin, his touch igniting me until I’d lost myself in him. It wasn’t like the first time, clouded by alcohol’s haze; but this was raw, deliberate, a fire that burned through me, leaving my legs unsteady, my breath shallow. I’d ridden him, taken control, my hands gripping his shoulders, his growls spurring me on, and now I could barely stand, my body betraying me with every step.Footsteps thudded above, heavy and deliberate, snapping me out of my haze. Panic surged, my heart racing as I realized the Ms. Clara was coming. I yanked off my clothes from th

ISABELLA’S POVI couldn’t feel my legs. They trembled helplessly, a waterfall of aftershocks rippling through me, my entire body slick with sweat and arousal. I lay sprawled across Sebastian’s bed, my thighs spread wide, twitching with every heartbeat. My breath came in ragged gasps. My nipples were still hard from the way he’d sucked and bit them. My pussy—God, my pussy was ruined. My folds throbbed from his relentless mouth, and I could still feel the ghost of his tongue flicking my clit, the way he’d held me down like I was his personal feast. But this wasn’t over. Not even close.Sebastian hovered above me now, watching me with hungry eyes. His lips glistened with my wetness, the same lips that had dragged scream after scream from my throat. His chest heaved, his muscles taut, cock fully erect—thick, veiny, and flushed dark at the tip. I stared at it, swallowing hard. I wanted it. I wanted all of it.Even though I shouldn’t.Even though he was my professor.Even though he was a we
