CHAPTER 60 - A Traitor in Their Midst
Clayton finally went out from his car a little after midnight. He looked towards his house and saw that all the lights are still on. He rubbed his forehead to relieved himself from the headache he is currently feeling after having a conference with the alphas and the king.
The three wolves who dared try to mark Amarah was from a rebel pack from the North, The Red Fang Howlers. After finally beating some cooperation into them, they finally revealed that they were tasked by their alpha upon hearing that the girl connected to the prophecy is within his territory. The three were the top warriors of the pack and he held himself well enough to not beat them to death.
He saw no remorse in their eyes as they were being chained inside the prison chambers. One of them in fact bragged to him arrogantly that he was able to mark the girl and he would die a hero’s death for what he had done.
