Chapter Fifteen

At lunch everyone kept staring at Cass and I could tell it was making her uncomfortable. We ate outside the cafeteria to reduce the number of eyes on her, but I could still hear the chatter from inside. Everyone trying to ask me 1000 questions through the mind-link. I tried my best to tune them all out, but it was hard when 200 people are trying to talk to you all at once.

“I heard she lives with you, is that true?” another asks.
