Chapter Twenty-One

Arriving back at the pack house I notice it’s quiet. Shifting back, I walk up the back stairs and into the house. There isn’t anyone around. I head upstairs to check the bedrooms. Reign and Quintin’s room was empty and so was Koray’s’. Sniffing the room, it didn’t even smell like he had been in here at all. I head into my room and grab some clothes Reign laid out for me on the bed. I pull on the bright yellow tank top and cute jean shorts before heading back into the hall.

I decide to check the office but the door was locked. I knock and put my ear to the door but I can’t hear any movement inside. I shrug before heading back downstairs.

“Hello, is anyone here?” I call out but no reply.

Looking around when I hit reach the bottom I figure they must have gone for a run themselves.

“Food!” Nina whines in my head and I head toward the kitchen. Walk past the living wall in the dining room I stop.
