Chapter 19 I BET YOU

A week later, Kyla took her youngest sister, Kiana, to the cemetery. Kyla barely spoke, still fresh in her mind what had happened to her sister. While her mother was not with them because she was still in the hospital and had not woken up. What happened to her family was painful for Kyla. Only then did she see her father again a few years ago, since he was newly married and her father had rarely visited them. Her father did not even bond with her youngest sister for a long time because his new wife did not allow him to see them either.

“It’s good that you made it. How many years have passed, dad? Kiana misses you so much, but what did you do? You were afraid of your new wife, so you ignored us. Where is mom missing? Why can’t you be content with her? You still sympathize with us? That new wife of yours, you thought she was just a cheater.” Kyla said emphatically.
