Out in the Open
Lyle and Luka were shocked, stunned, Silent. They could feel each other's emotions, hear the questions in each other's heads, but on the outside, no one could tell. Rosalie touched Lyles arm gently and tried to speak to him but he just shook his head gently at her and excused himself. Luka on the other hand sat at the table, looking ahead. He could not explain but how, but now he knew for sure that the person whose voice in his head was hit, Mate. Her whispered words “wait for me”, did not sound very reassuring. Probably because she was not close by, or he would not be meeting her any time soon. Pack GatheringThat evening Luka and Lyle had sent word to their pack and the surround packs via the mind link and through word of mouth that a meeting was to be held at their castle grounds.
