“Get him,” Someone yelled in a high-pitched tone, one that made Kal even more alert than before, drawing his sword out from the sheath at his side. There was nothing that could have made him decide to drop it at the palace.

The sole focus in his mind as he attacked his attackers was to get rid of them as soon as possible. It was the only way to ensure Hurai’s safety.

“Slash…” swiping his sword at them with all the seriousness he could muster, watching his attackers attack with just as much intensity as he did.

What made it even more frustrating for Kal was how careful they were as they moved. They didn’t underestimate him at all, as they carefully attacked him at the same time, covering each other's backs and ensuring their survival.
