Natalia’s phone continued to ding as more notifications came up. She ignored them, wondering what she was going to do about the way her head was going.

She checked her phone as another sound emanated from it.

It was another text from Wendy. She had been sending multiple texts, voice notes and even emails. Natalia had refused to take any of them.

She ignored all of her calls too, and she could not just understand why the woman could not just sit down and breathe in some fresh air. It was obvious that she was being ignored, and Wendy did not like to be ignored.

She was most probably self deluding herself into thinking that Natalia had her phone on silent or the ‘Do not disturb’ setting, so that was why she could not send a reply.

Either that, or she hoped that Natalia was sleeping.

But sleeping for well over twelve hours? Of course not.
