He's broke and homeless.

The twenty-second came, and even though Deborah dreaded the day, she was present at the courthouse early that morning with her lawyer, Theo, Leon, and Sophie. She was led into the courthouse, and when they arrived, the fact that Damion wasn't there already had her blood boiling.

"What does he take himself as, some Lord, to not show his face on time." She mumbled, rolling her eyes as she approached her seat.

The courtroom was empty, but soon people started showing up, and Deborah's expression fell at the sight of how many people were gathering in the room.

Soon the area looked more like a reality tv show than a courtroom, and Deborah took the longest time to process it all before blurting out to her lawyer, "What is going on?"

"It seems like the trail is going to be an open proceeding." The lawyer casually said.

"What?!"

"Oh, you wanted it to be a close proceeding?"

"Yes, you idiot! How can you be so stupid! What am I even paying you for if you are going to be a useless fool!"
