Ash knew that he had not been thinking right when he went after Asha and her foolish decision but he would never stand and watch a woman fall to her death while he did nothing about it, powers or not.
At this point, he could tell that he wasn't going to catch up with her and there was nothing he could do.

"What?" Myan walked closer to him, her hands spread to receive his incoming arms that were spread apart for a hug. Ash did not stop to argue, instead, he swam right after a disappointed Tonsil. He ignored every look of disapproval she was showing.When they had swum a good distance away, Tonsil stopped swimming in front of him, blocking his path, "what was any of that madness about? Tonsil gave a deep sigh of relief when she saw Ash walk out of that cave alive. He took his human form as soon as he met her gaze. The Bingsols were equally thrown aback.Myan let out the loudest scream and let go of her control of the strange water-fire ball.It erupted and sent parts of it in all directions. Ash was smart enough to dodge it by an inch but it drowned the Bingsols and instantly melted them.The others that had been unaffected and had witnessed the instantaneous death knew there would be more where that came from and rather than try to attack, they chose to run for their lives instead.But that did not stop Myan. She created more of these balls and continued after the fleeing creatures.
