Chapter 32: Giving up my baby
Eliza and Christine were shocked and appalled by Tom’s words of abandoning baby Bailey. It was too much to ask of Eliza to leave her own child in the hands of Benjamin and Shannon. She did not want that, it creeped her out just thinking of her helpless baby with them. This was the first time where she did not agree with her dad and decided to go against him.
With a firm voice she stated, “Dad, are you crazy? Do you even know what you are talking about? How can you possibly think I could leave my baby with those selfish and vile people? Do you not care about your granddaughter?” a series of questions escaped her lips in frustration. Her eyes constantly glanced at the moving hands of the clock.
