Pretending to be strong

Steven's perspective.

Steven has been in hell for a long time. He meditates every day in order to cross the border that he must cross every day. Since his best friend's death, he has been restless and has tried everything to be himself. He used a lot of drugs to get his head fixed. In his dreams, he kept seeing his friend and asked him to atone for his sins.

Steven couldn't control his rage, so he soothed himself by consuming more drugs. Despite his best efforts, nothing worked for him.

Steven is now a drug addict who has found no joy in his addiction.

Prisoners are now happy because of his calm demeanor, but no one truly understands what's going on with him.

Steven has a female cop who has encouraged him during difficult times, but he still does not trust her about her friend.

Steven couldn't tell anyone about her friend because he could be charged with murder if there was no evidence that someone else did it.

He had faith in the female cops but couldn't tell them anything about hims
