Ice cream play

"Babe I got you ice cream."

Calvin who just entered the room said, holding a large cup of ice cream in his hand.

He has been with her since, even though she had stopped crying. He did everything he could to distract her and he succeeded. The only time he stood up, he actually went to get her ice cream. She heard him talking to one of the workers before, she didn't know that he was actually asking him to go get her ice cream. She smiled and her heart swelled.

"You still remember." she said.

"Of course. You said it's one of your favourites." He smiled, remembering that day. That was when she began to forgive him. "And I made sure to get more than enough this time. Any time you want one, you can get it in the freezer."
