Finding Star

I’m really mad at myself for being happy about the feeling of his body against mine, even slightly. Stupid heat. “People who hit Alphas don’t usually live little wolf,” he says staring down at me, “But yes, basically that’s the gist of it.” This closeness is not good enough, I need more. I’m losing my mind and this water isn’t helping much now that I’m getting used to it. I push my other hand up his wet shirt to land on his abs, “And what happens to the ones who sink their claws into them?” I lift my one eyebrow at him. He definitely flexed his abs, I felt them move under my finger tips. I start to move my hand lower but he catches that wrist too. “You don’t really want to do this Akira, it’s your heat. I’m not going to let you do something you don’t want to do,” he says softly, “It also explains why we’ve been, uh, attracted to each other lately, that’s how it works.” I pull my hands to my side and step out of the shower. Tossing Angs’ wet shirt off as I walk away and throw on whatever I have left to wear before he comes out of the bathroom.

I’m still feeling the pull, the need, the ache but my pride took quite a hit, so I welcome the pain. I get into bed as he walks out in a towel. Fuck me. He’s even more gorgeous wet, and his body is literally perfection. I noticed the scars he has marking his body as well, I wonder what they’re from. “I need to know where to do my laundry I’m running out of clothes,” I say tearing my eyes away from his body and grab a book to look at instead. “I’ll send someone over to take care of that,” he replies. “Anyone but that girl who drops off these books please, I can’t see her when I’m like this, she’ll just set me off.” I look up and he lifts his eye brow, “Not like that,” I roll my eyes and shake my head. Men. Right now I wish I was attracted to women instead.

The ache is growing again but slower, “What did you mean it’s hard for you too?” I ask for the third time. He sighs, “Unmated males are sensitive to a females heat, they become extremely attracted and it’s hard to not help her with it, but yours seems to be stronger,” he was struggling to find the right words which was kind of funny but I didn’t let my amusement show on my face.

I laid back in bed, trying to hint for Noah to leave. He walks to the door and says, “I’ll send a doctor over to help you,” he hesitates then says, “Akira I’m sorry if I offended you. I just wanted to give you all the information. You deserve that.” Then he left. It’s hard to stay mad at him when he puts it like that, but my pride is still hurt. “Star? Please answer me,” I beg. “I’m sorry Akira, I’m trying to push myself away so your emotions aren’t heightened by mine. I feel the heat too and I don’t want to cause you any more discomfort or make you do something you don’t want to do,” she finally replies. I do feel the ache even more so now that she’s back, “It’s okay Star, we can handle this better together than apart. We’re better together no matter what. Please don’t leave me again,” I ask. “Of course, I’m sorry if I scared you, I will be here for you always.” Star is the best. I really couldn’t be bonded with a better wolf.
