I grab my wine glass and force down another sip trying to wash away the sins forming in my head. Noah takes another sip before finally replying, “What if I do like you?” My eyes snap to his. “You don’t even know me,” I say, trying to back track already, my breath faltering. “Do I need to know everything about you to be attracted to you?” His smirk makes my heart rate pick up speed. “Those are two very different things, don’t you think?” I tell him. “I think they can also go hand in hand,” he counters. I can’t help my breathing as it picks up pace as well now. “Are you saying you’re not attracted to me Akira?” He confidently asks. “I-….” I’m left speechless.

His blunt reactions are catching me off guard and I’m not sure how to react to it. Physically, my body is reacting positively to his words and Stars’ purrs through the bond aren’t helping. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he’s full on grinning now, and I fear I might never want him to stop. “You’re extremely confident Noah,” I say as I finally find my voice. “Careful Akira, if you keep complimenting me I might think you like me,” he says making me eat my own words. I can’t help the small smile that slowly forms on my face. “Let’s go,” Noah says as he gets up and holds a hand out to help me up. “I’m not drunk Noah, I can walk perfectly-“ as I stood up to go I realized the special wolfy wine and tequila definitely went to my head. I took his hand and he laughed, “Don’t worry little wolf, I got you,” whispering into my ear.

He wrapped his arm around mine and walked me to the car, helping me into it as well. The ride back was silent, our hands inches away from each others on the seat. The tension crackling in the air as I tried to focus on anything other than the otherworldly handsome, masterpiece of a man beside me. When we pulled up to a huge, beautiful house that was not my cabin I looked to Noah in shock. “I thought we could have some coffee before I take you home, is that something you might want?” He asked, his eyes burning my skin as he looked from mine then down my body and back up again, the question behind the spoken one lingering between us. “Coffee sounds…perfect,” I whisper the last word, butterflies turning in my stomach replacing the alcohol.

Noah led us up the path and held open the door, as I walked into the entryway in front of him I heard the door click behind me. I turned around slowly about to tell him some form of compliment on his home when he took two quick, calculated long strides towards me. Eyes never leaving mine and hands finding my hips, squeezing so hard but feeling so good. One hand slid up my waist slowly, over my chest and up to my neck. Noah squeezed slightly there too, with just the right amount of pressure while angling my head up towards his and then he tilted his head down as if to kiss me. His lips never touched mine, but they hovered over close enough that if I made a move they would. “I need to kiss you,” he said, voice low with restraint, “Say yes,” he murmured, his breath mingling with mine. “Noah,” I whispered in a breathy moan. My hands tracing their way up his stomach, chest and to the back of his neck. His eyes closed as I grabbed a fist full of his hair and said, “yes.”

Noah’s lips crashed into mine devouring, claiming. My knees forgetting how to work as my mind went delirious with lust. His hands found my ass quickly and lifted me in a swift, easy motion and we started to move. I wrapped my legs around his waist and my back hit a wall with such force I felt it cave in behind me but nothing hurt at all surprisingly. He’s holding me hostage with his body now pressed against me, I can feel every piece of him.

Finally as we come up for air, his hand fists my hair tugging just enough to tip my head back, the other gripping my thigh and he kisses my jaw down my neck adding soft bites sending me to moan his name loud enough to echo through the hallway. “You have no idea,” he growled against my throat, teeth my grazing skin, “how long I’ve been holding back.” He kissed me like a man starved—tongue sweeping in, coaxing filthy, unnatural little sounds from me as his hips ground into mine with bruising pressure.

Then we were moving again, his one hand still firmly holding my head in place and other holding me up. When we reached what I’m assuming was his bedroom, I felt the bed against the back of my legs as he set me down. Noah detached himself from me and I whimpered like I was losing the only thing in the world that kept me alive. We both stood staring at each other, our breathing loud and chests heaving. He starts to unbutton his shirt but I step forward putting my hands on his, “Let me?” I leave as a question hoping he’ll let me undress him and appreciate every damn inch of his body as I do it. His head does a slight nod and I slowly start to unbutton his shirt, his chest rises and falls with anticipation. Once I reach the last button I look up to him and my fingertips graze his chest as I help slide off the shirt, revealing inch by inch a perfectly sculpted body. My mouth waters. “So perfect,” I murmur, more to myself than anything, letting my nails lightly scrape down his sides. He shivers.

My lips brush over his collarbone, nipping at his throat, then tracing lower, down the slope of his chest. I feel the need to take my time as I place slow, wet kisses to each defined line of his sin worthy body. My hands move to his belt, unfastening it with maddening patience. “You’ve been so good,” I whisper, dragging my nails down his abdomen. “I want to taste every inch.” I feel his body tense and watch his abs flex, he’s so receptive.

After everything I’ve been through, I need to be the one that’s in control and Noah doesn’t seem to mind at all. I sink to my knees, not out of submission but power. He’s mine to explore, to unmake. And he knows it.
