Chapter Two Hundred And Seventy-Three

Throughout that day, she worked with the regional head.

The man sat beside her making calls to the numbers on the list she'd given him, and crossing out the names of those he'd called and delivered her message to.

The message was simple and straight to the point.

Regional Head Martins sent a cropped up picture of a falsified document, with the shareholders names and signatures on them, along with the text.

"Is this what you'd be interested in? I have more of these, something that could destroy you...or save your life. We meet tonight at 9:00pm, at the old Queen's club in Crestview. Privately. No aides. No delays. This message never existed.”

Lana worked all that day until it was almost nine pm and she had to prepare for her meeting with the shareholders.

She had no doubt they would come.

There was one particular thing about Romero's board members. They were all self righteous pricks who believed they had the Romero Empire's interest at heart.
