Daniel's point of views :

We failed?

I was stunned on my spot.

The grief is so strong that it has shook all of us. We thought we had it all in our control. We thought we had saved her.

But we were SO WRONG!

Another murder.

We failed her.

Sorrow pierced me to the core.

With a heavy sigh, chase said in low voice

"He managed to get Stella. By the time we reached her place, it was... too late."

"Not just the basta*d brutally murdered her but he also challenged us leaving this message for us" chase added.

Swallowing, I peeked my head up to look at the white screen in front of me and as soon I did that my hand fisted into a ball and muscles went rigid.

I could feel my breathing getting excessive.

It showed words written on the wall with blood that said

"You are right! Rose is next"

It felt like someone had pushed me off the cliff and the sinking sensation followed by the hollow feeling.

I was aware my face was turning cold, I probably looked like a pale white ghost.

I am scared.
