Catalina's POV:

Armaros' eyes were all anyone could truly focus on. No one wished to believe that their king was slowly turning rabid but there's still hope right? After all they haven't turned blood red completely.

It's really laughable how these dumb wolves around me kept wanting to hold onto little hope that was slowly diminishing. Armaros' eyes were slowly but surely turning more and more red with each passing second. The longer we fight, the redder they'll become. His wolf crouched down, growling lowly as a warning to yield, to surrender, an invitation to spare my life.

So stupid, so very stupid indeed.

I took a defensive stance, letting the wolf know that I didn't plan on backing down just yet. We started circling each other, slowly trying to bait one another. Trying to see who will attack first. I kept my eyes trained on the mutt's eyes, enjoying every streak of the lovely colour that graced his black abyss. I waited knowing he would surely break soon; he was impatient
