Ella's POV 

"Don't tell me that there is no maid in Aviv's mansion. Wait, a second let me guess, Aviv probably must have given you the post of Maid. Am I right?" Becca mocked, with a sinister smile on her face.

"Becca, Manners!" Mrs Royal steeped ahead, glaring at her.

Rolling her eyes, Becca muttered, "Just kidding mom."

"Still you owe an apology to her," she argued.

"No, it's alright, Mrs.Royal," I mumbled.

"See, she don't want me to an apology." Becca shrugged.

"I apologise heartily from her side, my dear.  My daughter inhabited in abroad for long. Presumably, she has failed to keep traces on some of her manners," Mrs.Royal said, glancing at me.

Her calm nature made me doubt that she might not be the person who wrote that letter. When she quoted "My daughter" I felt a sharp needle piercing my heart.

"Mom, you don't need to be that polite to an orphan," Becca retorted, in disappointment.
