Chapter 32

Jenna's POV

"Stay back, shıthead!" Kalen trusted a hand against his chest.

"K-kalen, she's trying to cause a rift b-between us because I e-exposed her—"

"Exposed me? Ha, all you did was ruin my marriage. You turned my husband against me and got me kicked out so I won't be a Luna anymore. You knew after my delivery I was going to expose you. That's why you did it." I clenched my jaw hard. "Okay, let's assume I'm causing a rift between your family. I will only do it with words and words can be false. What about this document!"

I opened my gallery and clicked the fake abortion report, "Documents can't be false. It's clearly visible here that Monica had an abortion two weeks ago. This is exactly the time when she lied about going camping with friends. Except that she never went camping. She went to a hospital with you so you could secretly get her abortion done."

"THAT'S A LIE! That report is fake." Henry yelled. "Kalen, Kalen, trust me. This report is fake."

"IT'S NOT FAKE!" I exclaimed.

"Yes, it is!"

"How do you know?"

"Because I did Monica's abortion with my own hands in a private clinic." He blurted from my instigation.

He immediately regretted it and froze there. I smiled and raised my hands wide, "That's it. There's your truth, Mr. Kalen."

"And you were right, Henry. This report is fake. I made it so you would confess it with your own mouth."

There was deadly silence in the room. The only sound was the rustling of air and birds chirping outside. Henry was white whereas his daughter was seized by a paralyzing dread. Monica had stopped breathing in my arms.

"Hey, it's not your fault. But still, you should have been a bit clever here. This world is cruel and they claw at young girls like a hungry monster. You let him take advantage of you." I murmured to her while rubbing her back.

"H-he said he l-loves me b-but when I got pregnant..." She choked on a sob and never finished her words.

"Ahhh! Kalen, no!" I was startled by the loud cry Henry's daughter let out.

When I raised my head, a loud noise of skull smashing resounded in the air.

"Aahhhhhhh!" Monica screamed in my arms and hugged me tighter.

She hid her face in my bréasts as I bitterly gnashed my teeth. Kalen had broken open Henry's skull.

He was probably dead given Jr wasn't moving. He lay there, on his belly, palms open and no twitching a person hit hard would make in pain. His skull had exploded, but Kalen continued. He used his dirty, huge shovel and brought it down harder on his head again.

"You bâstard. She's a little innocent girl. How could you do it with her?" Hit again. "Or with any young girl." Again. "It's because of bastårds like you girls aren't safe today." And again.

This time I looked away since his skull was totally broken and flattened. There was only a split open skull, bust open brain matter, blood, and the squelching sound as the shovel ground everything into a mess.

"Get up, skank. GET UP!" Kalen panted. "Get up. I'm not done with you yet. How dare you have evil eyes on my daughter? HOW DARE YOUUUUUUU." He now brought the tool down on other parts of his body.

"Please, please, stop. Please, he's already dead. Please..." Brienne wailed.

"You got a problem, bìtch! He ruined my daughter's life. OUR daughter's life. Do you support him? Brienne, tell me, do you still consider him our father?!"

"N-no. No, I d-don't support him. But please s-stop." Brienne sobbed as she collapsed on the floor.

Kalen didn't. He went on. But I tried it this time, "Mr. Kalen, please. It's making me dizzy."

His arms froze in mid-air, the shovel lifted high. Giving me a fierce look, his eyes calmed down. Then he dropped the shovel and dropped on his knees, wailing loudly.

"Are you happy now, Monica? Your father became a murderer. I, who was a dignified man of his pack, am now a murderer. All because of you." Monica sobbed in my arms.

This moment was heavy. Brienne was staring at her father's smashed body with an expressionless face while Kalen was talking about things that would never be now that he committed a murder.

"After your mother passed away, all I ever wished was to give you a good life. But this is what you gave me... Humiliation. You... Made your father a murderer."

"You're not a murderer, Mr. Kalen." I piped in as a good idea struck my head. "This is defense. We'll say Doctor Henry has been assaulting your young daughter under your nose. Today you found out and in rage, you killed the pedophile räpist. This saves you from a jail sentence and preserves your daughter's dignity."

Brienne gasped so loud that Kalen's head snapped to her, "Do you object to it?"

Although her eyes said they did, she nodded in a no, "What Old Luna is suggesting is right."

"Thanks for seconding it, Brienne. Mr. Kalen, this will be forgotten soon. It will also bring you sympathy from others and save your family from an unexpected ruin. As for Monica—"

"She will be punished." Kalen said with finality. "She's not a child to have fallen for an old hag like him. She's going to a nun's school and college from here forth. Then she becomes a nun."

"Dad, you can't do this to me." Monica screeched.

I pitied her. It was too soon to make decisions for her. Her life had just begun. But it's good for now. Monica needs to learn her lesson. A few years in a nun school will set her mind right. Later, I'll ask Jace to let Kalen give her a chance.

Kalen locked his daughter in her room. I asked to go but he insisted I stay.

"I've sent in a word to my Alpha about what happened. I'm certain that would impel him to bring Alpha Chris since he was his senior doctor." Kalen said, looking furiously at Henry's body. "And since our Alpha King is also in the pack, he would be forced to come as well. So..."

He turned to me, "If you speak on my behalf as the old Luna and testify, it would help my case."

"I sure would, sir. You didn't even have to ask. I was going to stay."

"Thanks, Luna. You saved my family." He was emotional again.

"That's what any human with compassion would do. Monica is naive. She doesn't have experience. I just saved her future from being destroyed." Kalen moved away to the kitchen to drink water whereas I turned my gaze back to Henry.

A satisfied, small smirk lifted my lips.

You thought you were ruining me when you instigated Chris to conspire against me. Look where we both are now, Doctor Henry.

I'm the Luna queen whereas you are... My wolf chuckled. You are a dead man with your skull smashed to pulp.

I watched him even if at a point I felt nauseated. Jace had asked me to stay. This was our second part of the plan. He comes with both the Alphas to evaluate the matter and closes it.

I sat in a chair and closed my eyes, waiting for my husband and ex-husband.

I can't wait to see both their expressions.

Chapter 58 Jace's POV We were silent for a long time. Neither of us spoke. Suddenly Jenna lifted her face and eyes me innocently."What?" I chuckled. She nodded in no, "You burned Liza alive."My face stilled. I pulled her closer and joined our foreheads, "I had to. She was the bane of our family."I kissed her."Also," I added. "She made me doubt my wife's intentions. I had to punish her."At that, she hugged me tighter and rested her face on my shoulder. She was sitting straddling my waist while I held her like my toddler baby.My back had healed. Hence, I was able to sit this way.The doctors had been worried because the wound wasn't healing in my state of unconsciousness. That's the reason why they refused to give any answer. But the second I woke up, the wound healed, and all the residue of wolfsbane and silver was eliminated by my immune system."What happened to Chris and that lady?" I suddenly asked as I remembered those two."Both dead. And that lady was Doctor Henry's daug

Chapter 57Jenna's POV 'Thanks, bro. Head towards the Rogues' territory with your team. I'll meet you there.''Roger that!''Okay.'We broke the link. I sucked a sharp breath as I focused on the road ahead. If I drive at high speed, I'll get there in twenty minutes.Jenna, hold on for a while, love. Your husband is coming to get you.(Twenty minutes later)"Jace, finally you're here." Oakley came running towards my car as I applied brakes."Did you find her location?" I was not even fully out of the car."Yes, and already stationed our soldiers around the area." Oakley said, sending a wave of relief through me."Thank, goddess.""Don't worry, Jace. The situation is already in our control." Oakley flashed a shark grin and my eyebrows cocked in confusion. "Chris's soldiers look novice. They are not attentive at all, let alone alert.""I think he brought untrained wolves here. And I must add that his Beta and Gamma are not here either."I acknowledged with a nod, "He's probably doing it

Chapter 56Jenna's POV Jace has never touched her before. He hadn't done it this time either. It's that bìtch who always found ways to go near him.'There's no point in giving yourself false hope, Jenna. Jace isn't the man we thought he was. Accept it.' Gianna said.A feeling of disappointment rose over me. No! My wolf is not right here. She's hurt from Jace's wolf's words, and rest is the impact of wolfsbane.Jace loves us.'You really think that? Then tell me, why didn't he come after us when we left?'he He might have a reason.'No,' Gianna grunted weakly. 'It's because he was bewitched by his mistress's beauty and he chose her instead.'That's not true. I was breathless in anger. Gianna's words struck a chord that it shouldn't have.'I'll prove it to you that Jace still only loves us.'Having that said, I lowered my guard. I had blocked out everyone and their feelings to avoid getting caught. However, as I lowered my guard, I could feel my family's emotions— Jace's first. He was

Chapter 55Jenna's POVI regained my senses at the feeling of stabbing spasms stretching throughout my body. My eyelids were heavy and so I couldn't drag them open. But my other senses were working well.I could hear and smell and feel my surroundings. The air was crackling with the chirping of thousands of crickets, meaning that I was most likely in a forest area; or where there were a lot of trees.I dragged in a deep breath to catch scents, and realized that wood was burning somewhere. Then I heard the noise of fire crackling. A bonfire. I subtly rubbed my hand on the ground and sensed the coarse texture. Soil. All the elements directed to one point, I was in a forest. My eyes felt better now. I was about to open them when, "Hadn't she woken up yet?" A familiar voice asked."No, Alpha Chris. After she turned into her human form while fainting, she's been just like that." Someone said,It wasn't Cleo's voice. Hmm. Perhaps Chris flew all the way to Silent Hills city with a small team

Chapter 54Jace's POV "Let this be a lesson to all those who think they can fool the Alpha King just because I trust them." I announced as I paced around with a flaming torch in my hand. Behind me a pyre was built in the middle of the city for people to watch. On it Liza was tied to a pole. She was drenched with petrol and shaking. Her eyes were red. She begged me to let her go, that she was honestly apologetic. That she acknowledged her blunder and would go away. "My trust has never been a weakness. My willingness to believe in those who stand beside me does not make me blind, nor does my kindness make me a fool. I give people my trust because I choose to see the good in them. Because I consider them my previous ones. But the moment that trust is betrayed, do not mistake my silence for ignorance. And don't ever think that you can outsmart me."I came to a halt. The flames were crackling beside my face. It was night now, the sky was dark with no stars. There were light poles around
