Ciara's POV

“Maya, the first thing you need to learn is how to protect yourself,” I began gently. “One of the most basic forms of protection is creating a dome, a barrier. Not as large as the one I just cast, but a smaller one. A shield just big enough to cover yourself, or maybe even your sisters, if needed.”

I stepped closer, keeping my voice calm and steady. “Think of it as a safety bubble. There may come a time when you’ll have to shield all three of you during an attack. When that moment comes, you must stay calm and grounded. That’s where your power begins.”
