Chapter 15 - Smoke and mirrors

Wanda POV

The Omegas in the kitchen glanced nervously at each other as lunchtime approached. The silent question hung in the air.

Who would be serving the Alpha lunch this time?

Everyone dreaded it. Especially the younger Omegas who were constantly groped and assaulted by him every time they served him.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

“I’ll do it,” I said.

The collective sigh of relief that was heard through the kitchen almost made me smile.

“Thank you.” Alicia groaned. “He put his hand up under my skirt yesterday like that was the most normal thing.”

I wasn’t exactly looking forward to having Alpha Jerkface’s hand up under my own skirt, but better for me than Alicia. She was 19 years old. She shouldn’t have to put up with pricks like him.

After gathering the food and drinks for the Alpha and his bunch of stupid goons sitting around in the former Alpha’s office, I pushed the cart to the office and knocked on the door.
