1997 With the arrival of Mobile phone technology in India, Sanjay and Raghav were able to keep in touch with each other no matter where they were, but used it only in emergencies, as the cost of making calls was very high. The political scenario also changed in Allahabad and the old Mayor became the local Member of Parliament. Aishwarya's wings spread slowly as she came into the favour of all the top political parties. With the secret money drained from SV Enterprises, she began to give donations to political parties and win their favours in return. Rana's gang too grew in stature with more small and local thugs joining him, as they couldn't oppose him on their own. The fluctuating financial conditions meant that there was hardly much money for the firm to fall back on and it became more common for Sanjay to withdraw mo

But no matter how much he tried, he couldn't help but think of his best friends back in Allahabad. His heart missed his close friend Ahmed but more than him...Chandni. She was that constant presence in his life who always loved him and made him feel special, no matter what he did. He realised that she somewhat hero-worshipped him. How she would enjoy watching him play Soccer right now or become the topper in his class, he would always muse. And he would have loved to watch her grow. She was a brilliant student too, but always lacked confidence. He hoped someone was there to give her all that moral boost she very much needed. He wondered whether she knew he was alive, or thought him dead like everyone else, and that very thought would hurt him even deeper... to become non-existent to someone whom he loved and cared so much as a friend and companion. And Miku... his heart longed for his kid brother. Not jus

"Excuse me!! Spend some time with you?? Why? Who are you to me? Just because I sat next to you and tried to make some polite conversation with you, you got all sorts of ideas in your head about me. And you still wonder why I don't trust guys like you!! Huh!!" She turned body fully sideways to look straight into his eyes, and sneered loudly for the first time, drawing laughs from her friends. It was Aryan's turn to feel disappointed and angry. Why do these small town girls behave as if talking to a guy was such a bad thing? And why do they pretend as if they were not affected by the attraction and attention from guys? Just an hour ago, she was quivering in his arms, lost in the moment just like him! And now.... In a heartbeat he leaned so close to her that she drew a large gasp!! "So you are not curious to know ab

"Why? Why can't he be my father? How do you know he is Shantanu Dubey by the way?" Chandni asked him with narrowed eyes. "I know because....Forget about how I know. How are you related to him? If he is not your father, then who is he? How are you associated with SV Enterprises?" Aryan asked anxiously. "You know something? For someone who is not a local person, you seem to know an awful lot about my... I mean this company SV Enterprises!! I should be the one asking you as to who you are!!" For the first time, Chandni was looking at him with suspicious eyes. "I think you guys have thoroughly researched who I am already. All my things from the backpack, my wallet look like they have been taken apart." It was Aryan's turn to accuse her. "Hello Mr. Kapoor or whoever you a

Sanjay chuckled slowly and noticed Aryan move slowly towards Chandni and the sudden transformation in his face. Aryan's eyes became playful, filled with joy, and his whole body relaxed as if Chandni was the sole source of his happiness. Chandni too looked at him with a mixture of shyness and joy. Sanjay looked at both of them curiously. He knew his daughter, she wouldn't lie to him. She never knew Aryan before the bus journey, so how come..... Noticing her father's scrutinizing gaze, Chandni quickly recovered and moved away from Aryan. "How do you know about Munni?" Both Aryan and Sanjay asked each other simultaneously. Chandni thought she had to cook up some story so as not to get her father involved in her drama. "I wo
