The dusk had set into night and the hospital had become silent. Sebastian had forgotten about all the crowd and fans and didn't want to come to any conclusion of wether they were still standing out or have left.All he could feel was this burning sensation in him, mixed with anger, the familiar race of his heart when he was near Lorraine and scared. It was nearing night when they got out of the office and reached the elevator, Lorraine got in first and her skin prickled when Sebastian entered the lift. Lorraine sat at the bed defeatedly, staring into nothingness as tears welled up in her eyes, her throat burning with emotions...and also for the sentence she was going to say next. Lorraine was not usually a pessimist. But she couldn't help but make the worst possibility in her mind when it came to officially meeting the Phoenix brothers. They had talked through video calls many times, she was well aware with their names and all. It was just the fact that she had practically ruined everything for them with her ego. They didn't deserve to go through the criticism they went through because of the mess Sebastian and Lorraine created. Yet, when she met them, there was no sign of bare hate towards her. They were just as warm, just as radiant. If ever Lorraine wanted to wake up and see someone's face the first thing in the morning, it'll be his. Sebastian was the most endearing and selfless person she had ever met. It hadn't been on Lorraine's list to go.Her initial plan had been to send the brothers to her island for a long vacation away from her. Not with her.
