Landon's p.o.v "You stay in any of our rooms and don't move." I warned Mia seriously.  "But.."  "No but, you heard her didn't you?. In your bedroom, there is a hidden charm. It might be harmful to both of you, so we need to get rid of it as soon as possible." Brandon answered cutting her off.  "What if it kills you?. What if it is very harmful to the both of you!" She exclaimed on top of her voice.  I smiled then moved closer and leaned in kissing her cheek.  "You worrying about us is very heart fluttering, but we need to do this so stay back and wait for us to clear your room." I said softly.  "No!" She answered strongly and rushed out of the kitchen surprising us.  

Landon's p.o.v I turned slowly while moving my hand on the side of the bed to touch Mia. When I couldn't, I quickly opened my eyes and sat upright. "Mia," I whispered in fear. How the hell did I sleep and lower my guard down. Where was she?. What if something bad had happened to her while I was asleep.  "Relax," Zane whispered.  "How can you tell me that when our mate is miss...."  "She's with Brandon." He answered calmly.  I took in a deep breath of relief and released it.  "Okay," I answered then groaned softly when I sat upright and stood up.  The pain was completely gone, but I still felt very exhausted for some reason.  "We need to get the hell out of this place.         Christopher's ( Chris ) p.o.v  "You call this defending yourself?" I asked one of our warriors who dogged my Punch and shielded his face with his arms, forming a block.    "Annoying," I whispered to myself while I moved in a split second and kicked his chest sending him flying to the ground.  He fell down with a loud whimper and coughed blood.  The other warriors who stood in a circle watching slowly stepped back.  "Who's next?" I asked in a laboured breath.  The men looked at one another then back at me.  "I seriously have no time for this!. Who's next?" Cole's p.o.v  I sat a bit further away from Emily as Mia knelt down in front of her explaining everything there was to know about my kind. I too would believe her if I had no idea about my kind because she was so convincing.  "So you are saying that the man back then wasn't dead?" Emily asked softly.  "No, he was just unconscious. You do know that our kind are different from yours right?. We are quicker, faster, and stronger. Besides having sharp hearing, our ability to heal is pretty impressive. Do you want me to show you an example?" She asked loudly.  Before Emily could respond, Mia moved her claw to her wrist and slowly made a small cut which wasted no time in healing.  Emily glanced at me then back at her.  "Um...I see that, but if it's not too much to ask, can I see the man?"

                       Landon's p.o.v   "Um... Landon." Mia called as I rubbed her back a few times to stop her from saying a thing.     A few minutes had gone by but I just couldn't let her go yet. We sat next to each other and I was resting my head on her shoulder enjoying the beautiful tingles that were spreading all over my body.     "Landon, can you tell me what happened. Did Brandon do something to upset you?" She asked softly.     I pulled back and faced her seriously.      "If I was to lie to her and say yes, would she keep a little distance from him?" I asked myself silently.     "No, he didn't. I just missed you a lot that's why. And the fact that you have been spending a lot of time with him kind of makes me feel lonely.
