" Sera? Have you lost it? What the hell are you doing here?" I didn't say anything to him. Rather, I show it. Taking out the locket from my pocket, I offered it to him. And he immediately checks his wrist. Horror covers his features. Extending his hand, he literally snatched it from my hands. " How dare you even touch it!" " How did you get your hands on it? Did you steal it from me?" " No brother...I found it in the hallway. It got stuck in your bag and fell down." " I swear I-" " Just shut up DAMMIT! Stop lying! I know you were after it!" Stepping closer to me, he makes me take two back. My back hits the wall, and he grabs my arms tightly, literally shaking me to scream. " First you took my mother from me...then you took my father." " Now you even want to steal their last memories from me, huh!" I shook my head in a no. Trying to explain to him. To fail miserably. He wouldn't let me speak. He was hurting me. He was furious, seeing red. He won't

My head is pulled back up to the surface. And I gasped for air like a goldfish in a leaking bag. My eyes were teary and red, my hair all wet. Before I could even recover. My face is again dipped back and the laughter in the background fades as the silence under the water becomes deafening. I don't remember how many times this sick game continued. 10 times or maybe 12. But by the time they were bored, I was not breathing. But gasping for every breath. My throat felt clogged, my brain numb and my body too weak to even move. " You are so wet for us, baby doll." Ryder spoke sarcastically, throwing my body back on the mattress. And I just lay there, not able to make out my surroundings anymore or even the softness of the mattress under me. The freezing water has frozen everything. My body, my soul, my heart. Everything. Staring at a spot on the wall. Laying there dead, I just wait for all of this to end. The heat, the pain of the rejection, this rape, my life

" Fear is a synonym to her name, light is afraid to even enter her domain. The most evil form of existence even known to reside in a human shape. She is Heratte. The goddess which brings every beginning to an end. " Turmoil enters the premises as people scream, running for their lives. They haven't seen death from such a close distance before, Hell, they had never seen anyone or anything like that before. It looked like a stampede with people running over each other to escape. Pushing, toppling over and getting up to run again. Pure terror is evident in their features. Everyone was running except for one. He stood outside the door of the dorm room which was the epicenter of all this. His throat dried anf body numb as he took in the scene in front of him. The dark slime-like liquid was approaching him, but he did nothing to move back. Oblivious of it. His eyes fixed on the brutality in front of him. There were limbs torn from the bodies, lyin

7 years Later The Lycan Province The entire province was bustling with excitement. As preparations were in full swing. The grounds were decorated with beautiful white and pink flowers. Delicacies were being served. Guests, including the top rankers and prestigious families of the witches, vampires, werewolves and Lycan's were all invited and present for the biggest day of the decade. Dressed in expensive dresses and coats. Eager to see the union of the two strongest provinces. They have been waiting for this very moment for years now. Everyone was busy chatting, too euphoric and excited about the event. Unaware of a figure standing on the balcony of his room. Overlooking the elated atmosphere below with his cold dead eyes. His elbow rested on the railing as he leaned lower to stare blankly at the crowd. His toned chest and abs were visible as he stood without a shirt, not giving a fuc* to what the guests would say. Standing there just in his trousers, he looks d

" I pretend the entire day that I am okay. After all a King can't display weakness no matter how much he takes. But when the night falls, and the moon comes out peeking through its veils. Your grey eyes haunt me, making me wish. I could have trusted you just once that day. " ...... He was unknowingly pushing aside people, struggling to walk past the crazy crowd which was congratulating him. His eyes were desperate to search for only one person. By the time he reached the tree the figure was leaning on earlier, his heart dropped in the pit of his stomach. There was no one there. He looks around frantically, to only find smiling congratulating faces. The hooded figure was nowhere to be found. For a second he wanted to believe it was a hallucination. But then again, it has never happened in the daylight like this. His dreams are the only place he can afford to see his butterfly. She was no longer in this world. Breathing heavily, he closes
