Loner to Luna: Chapter 80
"Really?" I huffed as I whipped around in the direction of the voice, "Brian, what the fuck? I thought we were past this?" He held up his hands, "Sorry. Just kidding. You did a lot for us when we didn't deserve it at all. Besides, to be honest, you were the hottest loser I had ever seen." Damien growled and Adam explained, "He was with me when we saw her trying on the formal gown and that leather outfit." Damien chuckled, "Now I get it. Yeah. Both of those are really hot. I'm the lucky guy to have touched her in them." Brian smiled, "Lucky bastard," and punched Damien in the arm, playfully. I asked, "Are we done with the dick measuring contest?" Amy and I rolled our eyes and the guys laughed.   Amy and I went to her garden area and talked while the guys talked Alpha stuff. She observed, "You look li

I stood, "While I do appreciate all of the apologies, I have moved past all of that. I hope you all do too. Raise your children to know that treating people like that is wrong. For now, all of you are forgiven. You were when I found out that Dina was the cause of all of it. So, let's put it all behind us and focus on the future now." Everyone applauded and I sat down and started eating dinner. Damien leaned into me and whispered, "Looks like two packs have learned from your experiences." I smiled, "My experiences were also this packs' experiences. They had to know that what they were doing was wrong, but they had a self-proclaimed Future Luna telling them it had to be done."  When dinner was finished, Damien and I stood with Adam and Amy at the door of the dining room greeting people and telling them goo

As Damien and I made love, I couldn't help but feel more loved than I have ever felt before... even by him. It brought us even closer than we ever were, and we were almost inseparable before. If I thought there was no way I could live without him before, now I absolutely knew, without a doubt, that I would die without him. He is my other half, no more questions about it. I am so lucky to have a mate who will stay by my side no matter what and will continue to love me, no matter how huge I get.  When we come undone together, for the last time tonight, I lay in his arms feeling more content than I have ever felt before. I was trying to figure out where that feeling was coming from, when Damien asked, "What are you thinking?" I answered, "It's just weird. I have always felt close to you, but tonight, I feel

Abby POV  I realized, when I saw her again this morning, where I remembered her from. When we were looking at the real-time footage of this pack, before Dina took my parents, I saw her flirting with the vampires. I saw her willingly let one feed off of her. I couldn't help but wonder if they changed her and she was able to mask her scent. There was one way to find out.   I walked to th

After changing clothes, Damien and I took two of our security guys, and left to go shopping. He as, "So, where would you like to shop, my Luna?" I answered, "I have never shopped in Union Station. Why don't we go there?" He smiled, "I would love that. I want what makes you happy." As we are riding in the back of a Hummer, I slide close to him and rest my head on his shoulder. I cooed, "You are so comfortable." He chuckled, "Comfortable? That's not something I hear every day." I snuggle closer, "I can always totally relax in your arms. I love that." He sighed, "In that case, you're comfortable too. I always totally relax when I'm holding you." I smiled, "It's that damn mate bond."  He chuckled, "Okay. I really want to hear the story behind that saying. You and your parents say it all the time. So does Kay

I said, "Okay. The story behind the damn mate bond." He laughed, "It's kinda been driving me crazy since the first time I heard someone other than you say it. At first I thought you were saying it because you were worried about me hurting or rejecting you." I cringed, "At first it was. But that's not where it started. It started with my grandparents, actually. My mom's parents."  "The one thing you need to know is that my grandparents are like my parents," I said, "They are the perfect example of what the mate bond should look like. Madly in love since day one, but my grandmother was like me. She was a pack omega in a very cruel pack. She has scars all over her body because the pack used silver on her a lot. Knives, whips with silver-dipped tips, you name it. Her pack held a ball for unmated wolves and i

Loner to Luna: Chapter 86
When we were done with our shopping trip, we went back to Silver Moon Pack to see if there was anything else we can do for them before we go to the next pack on our itinerary. Adam replied, "There is one more thing we need Abby to do. Abby, do you think you could go through your old house to see if there is anything your parents may have left that they would want?" I shrugged, "Sure." So, Damien and I went to my old house and, as soon as I looked around, I started thinking of all the good times in this house. They were the only good times I had, with the exception of the time at Kayla's house.  As we looked around, Damien walked into my old gym, "They left all of your old equipment." I pointed out, "They did have to leave in a hurry." Damien asked, "Why don't I send a crew up here to completely empty bot

When we got to the pack, I noticed that they had their own little town set up with shops of all kinds, a school, and a post office. I asked, "Does anyone venture into a human town at all?" Beta Rule shakes his head, "No, Luna. They are all afraid." I asked, "How are humans supposed to get any other idea of what you are if they aren't exposed to you?" He shrugged his shoulders, "Beats me. That's the same argument I've made." I asked, "When was the last time a human actually ran into one of you?" He chuckled, "The last recorded one was fifty years ago." I smiled, "Okay. A lot has happened since then, and humans actually want to see a werewolf now." Alpha Arnou sighs, "The werewolf and vampire books." I nod "Those books have been turned into movies, and people are actually choosing if they want to be on the vampire side or the werewolf side." Alpha Arnou and Beta Rule laugh, "If they only knew the truth." We all laugh together as we enter Alpha's office.

Loner to Luna: Chapter 89
We were shown to a very plush room, with a down feather comforter and silk sheets on the bed. The furniture looked like it belonged to royalty. It included a very necessary mosquito net over the bed. We had a balcony off of our bedroom and a coffee maker next to the french doors leading to the balcony. I had already decided I would be using that each morning we are here. We took our showers and I dressed in my new black sundress. I'm brushing out my hair when I see Damien looking extra yummy in his black t-shirt and his jeans hanging low on his waist.   He must have seen my eyes change, because he smiles, "Later, Yara. We don't have time right now." I had to fight Yara to retreat to the back of my mind. I informed him, "She was being quite insistent on staying up front this time. You look particularly yu
