Chapter 101Lively Conversation. The lantern festival continued with much precision. Hearts fluttered, gossips continued. Induna and Elle where with the girls. Who knew that Induna would still join them after Elle had grabbed Grace out of Induna's grasp. Gloria, Elsa and Silvia sat in one of the long bench while Grace, Elle and Induna shared another. They were snacking on a very nice dinner. The place was becoming darker and it was hard to find Zeres in such crowd so Elle had decided to stick around her friends. Besides, the light from the burning woods which hung as a lamp wouldn't be able to show her the vision clearly. Normally, vampires have the abilities to see in the dark but also, all vampires have their different flaws, so Elle's flaw wouldn't allow her to see in the dark. She could still see but not to the extent of night vision enhancement, so Elle didn't dare make a fuse. All her worries was that Abi might meet with Zeres and he might even propose to her a second time and A

Kai was then left speechless the moment Azriel burst out of the ice prison with his body which weighs a ton due to his own ability. Of course, this was a big problem because if Azriel could break out of his ice prison, then there was no way he could stall them and then run away. His older brothers we're faster than he was so they would catch up with him if he decides to bolt out this instance. He was obviously no match for them and he troubled him to that extent whereby there would be no possible solution to this problem. Just, how could he have allowed them to fool and trick him to this point. He was a vampire for crying out loud so why treat him as a slave. Besides, that one icy spikes created by him had drained a lot or blood and doing it again over an over might drain him completely of his reserves so he had rather think wisely about this and find a way to get out of Stretch Streets without being caught up by these maniacs. “Kai dear, I can see the outbursts of power you had jus

The moment Kai tasted his blood cloth, he pulled out. And then, he carefully studied Ezekiel's face only to see it still calm. Then Ezekiel pulled his hands off and waved them only to have the cut close up as though it had not even been cut in the first place. Kai then looked at Cole and a wicked smile flashed on his face. Now that he was filled with enough blood that would sustain him as long as he doesn't use his abilities to that extreme at least, he would be able to cause icy spike prison once more and this time around, furl it in such a way that not even Azriel could crash out of it. Cole and Azriel looked at themselves before Cole turned to face Blake. The next minute, they turned their back to leave only to see Ezekiel just ahead of them as though saying that they would not leave without a fight. Ezekiel scanning Kai's face, he planned on giving them each the same injuries inflicted on Kai. Plus that dreadful push which got him colliding with the rock. Ezekiel had seen it all

Abi and Zeres stood up as the lantern festival was coming to an end. Abi wanted to take him to her mom as per his request. Things had been going smoothly and Abi herself was happy about it. The Viscarrian Lieutenant would have gotten a lot to tell her if the festival had been ruined somewhat. So she was glad at the least. Abi noticed two handsome men join them in the movement and she smiled internally. Somehow, they looked so familiar. Just as they continued their journey, they bumped into Elle. Yes, her face was contorted with an awful grimace so Abi just had to stare back. “Oh, hi princess it's you again.” Abi said, her voice so sonorously deep and gorgeous as she spoke. Elle just stared at Abi without blinking until Zeres broke the stalemate. “Isabelle. . .” Elle froze. He was getting at it again. He was going upset due to what had transpired. Of course, she knew the repercussions whenever Zeres used her full name. “You knew about Abi and didn't bother to tell me didn't you

Abigail directed Zeres where he should go because right now, they were heading straight to her home so she would prefer giving them directions than calling out the local district for them. And then finally after a rough drive, Zeres pulled over in a park area. Zeres and Abi stepped down while Ezekiel and Kai remained inside because obviously, whatever they were about to do in there doesn't concern them so they were only minding their business. Abi turned to face Zeres and then exhales. “I hope what you are saying about me is true. Because, my mom hates me coming home with men.” “Really?” Zeres just sounded calm as he made that statement and Abi sighed. They both walked into a mansion. Though it was old and ancient, but it still looked moderate and up to standard. The first thing that welcomed their view was the woman sitting by the fireplace, her eyes closed as her forehead had worry lines. She knew that Abi had gone to set up the festival but, shouldn't she be home by now? Clair
