The night before their flight home, Ellisa felt something strange about Jared. She noticed how he has been keeping a scowl for the past three days. A bad day at work? Three consecutive bad days doesn't seem right and she was somehow worried. Just after dinner, Jared didn't stay for the chats, he went straight to the staircase without saying a word to anybody. Ellisa has never seen that side of Jared before, he is definitely terrifying when he is distant. The thing is, everybody is acting like it was normal for him to do stuff like that and now she's confused if she should disregard it.Ellisa knew she couldn't ignore it any longer. So, when finally they were in Levius' room, she sat down on the bed and darted her eyes at her boyfriend. Levius had his brows raised."Jared... he seemed to be in a bad mood," she stated. "It's been three days since I noticed the dark expression on his face. Aren't you worried?""He hasn't said anything," Levius uttered. "Did you try asking Rossie if they

Rossie quickly crossed the street without watching from left and right. She didn't care if there was any vehicle, all she see was Jared walking away from her. She needed to catch up before he could open the door to his car and leave without hearing her out. "Jared!" She cries when she knew she couldn't keep up and he reached for his car door. He paused and finally turned to her, his eyes flickered with what seemed to be sadness. "Let me explain!" She was still catching her breath. "Explain what exactly, Rossie?" he coldly asked, glowering at her."It wasn't what you think!" Jared sarcastically laughed, throwing his head to the side and back in front. "You're making fun of me, Rossie. Your lips on his lips and you're telling me it's not what I think?" He continues to laugh waiting for her to respond. "I was saying goodbye and before I knew it, he kissed me!" She explained but she knew he was not going to buy it. "I swear, Jared. I was just saying goodbye to him! I admit he has bee

"Rossie?" Ria, with her eyes wide, turned to Rossie with judging eyes. It took only three seconds and she awkwardly laugh, slapping Jared's arm softly. "You're kidding! But you guessed her name right!"Jared laughed, taking a step closer to Rossie, and without permission, he kissed her which made everyone gasp from shock, even her. It was only a peck and he move a bit away whispering in her ear, "You really don't want to own me, huh?" A corner of his mouth lifted as he gazes into her eyes, his hand raised to tuck the strand of hair that fell on her face. Then he moved fully away saying, "I know her alright and wife's just kind of shy.""H-How did you two meet?" Ria was still unconvinced and the way she was glancing, narrowing her eyes at Rossie makes Rossie swallow hard. "One of our company team building. Anyway," Jared looks at everybody, "please be good to my wife and I'll see everyone around."Ria was about to say something when Jared just started walking fast, away from them. It

Jared waited for Rossie in his car which was parked a couple of lot away from Rossie’s home. He has been thinking about it for days yet he could not gather up the courage to ask Rossie about the photo Lucas sent him. Four days later, here he was to find out what was happening and why Rossie has been texting. He kept glancing at the upper part of his phone. She should be home anytime now, Jared thought to himself. Twenty minutes later, he sees the familiar blue car pulling over across the street and in front of Rossie’s house. From where he is, he could see the inside through the open window. It didn’t shock him to see Rossie and Jake but it has his blood boiling when it took her a little while to get off the car. Jared could not help himself just gripping with white knuckles on his steering wheel. He opened his car door and went out. Just as he was marching towards them, he stopped, feeling some concrete stuck on both his feet. For a moment, he couldn’t take a step just looking at

Chapter 52It has been a few days since Ellisa got back from work. The first day she was dying to talk to Rossie and she notices the bitch trying to talk to her too. The difference between them was that she's straightforward and she would let her ego down for somebody that is important to her. On the contrary, Rossie was too shy to do those. That's why she decided to just approach her best friend because she heard their co-workers talk shit and Rossie wasn't ready for that.Ellisa sighed heavily, her back thrown at the backrest as her chair swiveled. She stretches her hands and groans. Finally, it was time to go home."Happy, happy, Ellie!" someone just suddenly whispered near her ear which had her jumping from her seat. Only to find Lucas laughing at her."What the fuck, Lucas?! You scared the shit outta me.""You should have seen your face!" He continues to laugh at her. "You just made up with Rossie and she didn't wait for you?"Ellisa rolled her eyes. "You should stop sticking you
