THAD “Today will be very hard, but we need to keep up appearances for Jadelynn’s sake. The man who has her might still be watching here to see what we know or suspect. Unfortunately, we would never be able to tell, so we just have to be vigilant,” Mom said. Today would suck like hell, but I would get through it. No matter how hard it would be here without her, it would not compare to whatever she was dealing with. My parents briefly filled me in on who has her. Some douche named Vanosti. He was the one they had been hiding her from. She had overheard ‘Drechen’ in one of her parents’ conversations, and that was what he was apparently. They collected things. This one in particular collected power. He was going to attempt using her to collect some power or other from the Dreamworld. They did not want to worry me too much. Even though I begged them to tell me everything, they insisted that it could block some of my ability to find her because I needed to be able to push past my emotions

JADELYNN While I did not have complete control in the situation that I found myself in, I did enjoy the fact that I could get away with some things regarding Little Bitch. It gave me a little control – something I desperately needed right about now. The other person’s name was Fredricks, but I did not care one bit. Knowing his identity was not my priority because I was more concerned with what was about to happen. I was told to lay down on the couch. Fredricks closed his eyes and began chanting in some foreign language. Very weird but okay. After a couple of minutes, my eyes began to get heavier, and I was being pulled under into oblivion. The chanting was to put me to sleep, and it worked quickly. One moment it was dark behind my eyelids, and the next moment my body slammed against something solid with bruising force. I groaned out with the pain that fall caused. My eyes opened and looked around. I was sitting in a bright meadow. The crisp autumn wind caressed my skin in greeting.

CAMDEN Justin was on par with my fighting level, so he was kind enough to help get me out of my head and focus on something other than Jadelynn being in Vanosti’s clutches. Nobody called me out on it, and I was thankful for that. It had been four weeks now, and we were still trying to find her. She was our priority. Unfortunately, this was a waiting game because it was not like a neon arrow would fall from the sky and point to where Jadelynn was. Dominique had a couple of potential hits that she was out inspecting and would let us know if they were duds or not. They would be duds knowing how he worked. His cloaking powers made it damn near impossible to get a location on him. That was why we were glad that Jadelynn had Guardians. That tether would be what helped us find her. Guardian Dana confirmed last week that she had been able to establish a connection with Jadelynn. Through the connection, she witnessed Jadelynn gathering information from Soren who was his lackey. We had previ

THAD I was pulled from sleep by an odd feeling on the tether. It was just after 4:00 A.M. when I sat up to get my bearings. This was the second time in a night where I felt her unintentionally manipulating it, so I focused on her the way that I always did. What I was not prepared for was the strong surge of lust that I felt from her. Why was she feeling lust? I felt anger, fear, and loneliness from her, but never had I felt lust. What in the actual fuck was going on? Yes. I was being a petty jealous bastard that my girl was feeling lustful, and I was not there. What caused it? Who caused it? ‘I planned on making a move date night, but those plans got royally fucked over,’ she whispered into her empty bathroom. That was when I realized she was feeling lust because of me. Jealousy gave way to excitement and need. The knowledge that she was feeling this about me was empowering. I could feel as her fingers caressed her breasts, and my cock immediately hardened. This was the first tim

CAMDEN “Hello?” I answered the phone, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. The clock said it was 2:00 P.M., but I had only fallen asleep a few hours ago. Another trail on Jadelynn went cold. This was why Vanosti was a crafty bastard. He knew how to evade us. We had yet to even find her, and we were already four months into her capture. Her Guardians had been connecting with her via their tether every few days. A couple of days ago, they saw Jadelynn talking about an impending hurricane and the Helshing Coven. We narrowed that down to Louisiana, but the trail went cold before we could even get a lock on her. “It is Guardian Dana. We know where Jadelynn is. She is currently in Glacier Peak, Montana. A Guardian found her trail today and had visual confirmation that she is alive and as well as can be expected given the circumstances.” I threw the covers away from me and tossed my boots on before rushing out my door. Our team was holed up in a make-shift camp because it provided the privacy
