Jason’s povI shouldn't have told April about this because as soon as I informed her that the message was from Julie's father and he wants to meet me. Worry etched over her beautiful features. Putting the phone aside I wiped the sauce from the corner of her lips before licking my thumb making her eyes flutter away from me. Pinching her chin I redirected her gaze back to me. "It's alright. I'll be fine. You don't have to worry about it but if you don't want to, I'll just tell him I’m busy," I said. April shook her head. "No, it's fine. He hasn't asked to meet you before. This must be important, you should go," She said, bobbing her head and making me smile at her. "As you say, ma'am," I mused, making her smile as we resumed our food. The next morning we got ready, had breakfast, and left the house. I dropped April off near the university and went to meet Julie's father at the location he had sent me. I wonder why he had called to meet me at a bar when we could simply met at a res

I gulped. He is drugged. I wonder which sort of drug he was given. But who would drug him? He went there to meet Julie's father. Did that man drug Jason? I was about to turn around when he pressed his front against my back firmly almost causing my front to squish against the door. I was sandwiched between the door and him. I forced my arms between my body and the door but as soon as I pushed back I felt something hard poking at my lower back. My heart lurched in my mouth as I gulped. "Jason-" He didn't let me finish as his hand moved to my shoulder. He grabbed my hair before pushing them up my head, all the way up bearing my nape. I inhaled sharply feeling his hot breath on my skin as it made goosebumps rise on my flesh. I don't know why I was shivering. It wasn't the first time he had held me. And definitely not the first time we are being intimate. He leaned down, and his hot breath was replaced by his lips as he trailed kisses up to my ear. I flinched, shrinking into myself fee

Julie's pov:I watched as Jason stepped out of the bar leaving me alone. I don't understand what I ever did to go through such humiliation. Yesterday I met my father. We had a family dinner but everything was so tense and cold. We looked like strangers more than a family. I wanted to talk to Jason and I knew if I texted him he wouldn't show up. That's why I texted him using my father's phone and then deleted the message so he won't find out. Just ask though Jason came. He was surprised to see me but I had no other option. I mustered up all the courage and simply told him what I wanted in the hope that he would understand and help me but instead, he found the whole idea ridiculous. And amidst all this chaos we were drugged. I gnashed my molars, through my dizzy vision. I was able to notice a lot of men staring at me. A tremor of fear ran down my spine. I decided to step out and hail a cab home but I wondered if I could get a cab at this time. The fresh breeze felt soothing on my

April’s pov:I hurried down the Hall to get to my class. I was already late. I just hoped for the professor to be late as well but to my sad luck, the professor was already there taking the lecture when I quietly stepped in. Thankfully he didn't say anything. I had this class with Susan and luckily she had kept a seat for me. I took my seat quickly shuffling out the books to take notes. Susan tapped the bottom of the pen on my notes garnering my attention. 'Figured you'll be late,' I gaped at what she had written as a blush crept to my face. Of course, she remembers. I glanced at her only to find her eyes focused on my neck where I had covered the mark with a patch. She wiggled her brows and I gave her a warning look before facing the professor. God, everything happened so fast that Susan knowing about our secret completely slipped my mind. I tried to focus and shooed everything out of my brain. But still, I wonder if Jason had come to university. In the morning he got a call

Jason's pov:I've hurt her. F*cking, Dammit! How could I give in to the drug and be so rough with April? I shouldn't have come to April in that state, to begin with. But where else could I've gone? I couldn't even fathom the thought of cheating on her and if I stayed on my own. I would've ended up doing something horrible. I had no choice but to reach for my mate in that vulnerable state. I was so reckless that I ended up coming after her to the university. Thanks to April's friend we got to my office safely but after that, I lost all rational parts of my self-control. I let the beast inside me take over. I was rough and wild with her. Demanding and dominating. I couldn't even think how she must've felt. She must hate me now and despite all that. I even proceeded to mark her. I won't deny it. I was dying to mark her but it shouldn’t be now, I promised her we would mark each other after our ceremony. Until the drug made me lose control. What if she hates me now? Just the mere thou
