Chapter 51OctaviaI pushed the door open to exit my room and probably go find somewhere quiet.Three days. Three days of getting rejected by Bennett, three days of staying in my room without talking to anyone else.It was painful..very painful. He was ready to take me to bed but then..he had stopped. He had stopped because I wanted him to tell me he was mine to keep and not to all the women he had always gone to."Ma'am?" Allison sighed. A sigh of relief."Hmm.""Thank God, you've finally left your room." She said and I chuckled, shaking my head as I walked pass her to the go down the hallway."Ma'am." She called again, walking to my side."What is it Allison? I know you want to talk about something." I said."Uhm, there is something....you need to know." She said, and I stopped walking."Something I need to know?" I Frowned.." And what's that?" I asked, and she scratched her head before looking at me."Bianca is here. She's practically taking the house as if it's hers." Allison said

Chapters 53OctaviaThe days went by in a blur as I was always occupied with one thing or the other. I had learned to sew and knit.. Allison had been a great teacher and a good friend. She had helped me so much and the thought of Missing her when I would leave was becoming sad.It was already the time to shoot for the Milano Deramos.I was getting my things ready in my room when the door opened and Bennett walked in.After that day we had yelled at each other because of Bianca, he had distanced himself from me not that I cared...I actually loved it.I was going to leave. I was going to make sure there is nothing tying us together. When I get back to New York, I would shoot for his company as soon as possible and make sure he would never have a reason to call me back."Good morning." I greeted, still going through my things. My box was ready and packed."Benjamin will take you to New York once you're done with your shoot." Bennett said."No need. I'm not a little child and you did say.

Chapter 55Octavia"So you're saying, he brings his whore home and then he yells at you for not giving her more than you did?" Sofia asked, raising a brow.I had just finished telling her about Bennett and everything that had gone down in Italy."I can't actually believe I'm listening to you and all these bullshits." She groaned."You're trying to tell me that Mr Bennett of the Stone Corporation is the Don...sorry, I mean Capo." "It's actually the same thing." I cut her off but she put her hand up."of the Italian Mafia." She completed and I nodded. It shocked me more than it does to you."Are you trying to tell me that, you were surrounded with guns, cocaine, bullets, missiles and everything dangerous when you were out of New York?" She asked again, this time with dilated eyes that made me regret why I had even told her about it."It's not like that. I wasn't surrounded with those things. it was kind of fun.' I said and she chuckled."Did you hear gun shots? Or did anything happen w

Chapter 57OctaviaWhen we got to the second floor, where the shooting was being held, I frowned when I saw too many people.Too many."Thank you for coming." Allison sneaked up behind us."Hey Allison." I waved and she winked at me."Hi." "Where's your boyfriend?" I asked, winking and she blushed, before rolling her eyes.Wait a minute...I narrowed my eyes at her and she shook her head.Girl got bursted."Is Bennett here?" I asked, and she nodded, gesturing to the corner where he had taken a seat."Well..I have a piece of information for him." Sofia said and that moment, I dreaded if she would bring that up.There was no predicting Sofia. She could be the devil's bride if she wanted to be."Good day Mr Bennett."Bennett looked up, his brows knitted to a frown. He didn't like people talking to him and Sofia might be my friend but he...that was fucked."And what might this be about?" He asked, not bothered to respond to her greetings.Sofia huffed, chuckling as she pushed a strand of

Chapter 59OctaviaBennett showed me to my room and it would be an understatement to say that it was beautiful. It was breathtaking.I looked at the painting on the wall. "I'll...uhm, be in my room." He said,as he leaned on the doorway."Okay." I mumbled. He hesitated before getting up and leaving.Closing the door behind Bennett, I walked to the bed and slumped down on it.The room was huge. It could accommodate two people if demarcated. My belly growled. Damn! I was hungry.I pulled off my coat jacket and dropped it on the bed.I stepped out of the room and headed down the hallway where we had took before. When I came down the stairs. The sweet aroma of beef sauce and chicken dumplings filled the air.Was Bennett cooking? Could he cook?Well...all Italian men cooked.I followed the aroma and came in front of one of the most beautiful kitchen I'd ever set my eyes on.It was white in colour and had the beautiful cubicle for plates...one I'd always had my eyes to get.Bennett was st
