Camila SáezLeonardo has been behaving strangely, there are only days left for our wedding and I just want him to be by my side, his late-night outings are making me wonder if he is really willing to marry me, or if he is sorry. He went out about an hour ago, it's ten o'clock at night, I know it's not even that late, but it's the third time this week, and that worries me, the Leonardo I know wouldn't waste time with his children and with me and the worst... the worst is that he doesn't want to tell me what's going on with him.“What about Leonardo?”. asked his mother, yes, we still live here, our perfect remodeling will be ready after the wedding, when we arrived from our honeymoon, although we still didn't know whether to bring the children or not.“Leonardo is out... again”. I mentioned sadly, I feared the worst, I have tried very hard to make the wedding perfect, just as Leonardo's father dreamed it, but if he has decided he wants nothing to do with me, everything will go down the

“Excuse me”. I said before answering the call.“Don't leave your wife alone, they're after her, stay put and you'd better get out of town, now!”. he mentioned, alarming me.I cut the call and proceeded to call Camila, my heart was beating even harder than before, she did not answer, my father and mother approached, followed by my children, suddenly my phone started ringing again.“Hello, Camila, I came right away to the church, tell me, where are you”. I asked and asked, but she did not answer me, suddenly a laugh from a familiar voice was heard.“You've never been so worried about someone before, Leonardo”. I felt that my soul was leaving my body.“Don't you dare do anything against Camila, otherwise...”. I was interrupted.“You don't have the power to threaten me, Leonardo, from where I see it, I have won, and you will have to explain to everyone the reason for the disappearance of your little wife”. He added again.“Don't you dare, Ana. Ana!”. I screamed when he hung up the call, I

“I won't be able to attend your wedding, Salvatore, I have more important matters to take care of, but Ana will accompany you and will make sure everything will be all right”. My father mentioned smiling.“It's ok father, but remember that I am not a boy, she is more of a girl”. I commented trying to take the contrary of his order so that he would not change his mind.“I already said, Salvatore”. He mentioned, always so stubborn, you will do me a great favor, father. I thought to myself. We got into the vehicle protected by two other cars with bodyguards, all previously hired by me, I would have no problem with that. The church bells could be heard, Leonardo was already waiting for me there, hidden somewhere in the huge structure, I smiled, for some reason I felt that I should not give him the woman who, in a few days, had made me feel so much, but, on the other hand, I did not want to make Camila suffer more, she deserves to be happy next to the man she loved.“Are you ready for what

“I went out for a moment, don't try to do anything stupid, don't leave the room and don't meddle in what you don't care about”. I mentioned. “It's not a warning, it's a threat”. I added again, pointing at her, looking at her, I knew she would not try anything against me, because I am her only hope to stay safe, but if she sees the opportunity to leave to be with her family she will do it, although at this moment, it is not the right thing to do.“You're a criminal just like them, aren't you?”. She asked, her question left me thoughtful for a few seconds, the woman behind me had dared to ask something that no other woman had ever said, she is brave, I thought.“That doesn't matter to you at all, just take comfort in knowing that you will live to see your loved one and your family again”. I mentioned indifferently, but for some reason my intention was to smile at her words. “I hope so”. I added, and I have always had that need to alert people more than I should.I went out, I had some b

Months later.Camila was already with Leonardo and his children, things with Ana had gone much better than planned, in fact, I was completely sure that we would have no problems with it, not even with my father, who in the end, ended up understanding that that woman was only with him for his power.I was quite uneasy, because that same day I confessed to Camila what I felt, just remembering it makes my stomach churn."I couldn't with my nerves, she had stayed to help me, of course, together with Leonardo, she had tried not to give me false hopes, but why would she?".“Camila, can I talk to you for a moment?”. I mentioned smiling shyly, I never imagined feeling this way, after all I was the great Salvatore Cipriani, no one had ever managed to sneak so deeply into my system.“Of course,”. She answered smiling, kissing Leonardo on the lips, and coming to me. “Tell me, what is it?”. She asked with that characteristic sparkle in her eyes, she was happy, and I didn't want to ruin her happin
