Charles’s POVI watched James run the parkour track with ease and I noticed the way that Sam was watching him, and I instantly got jealous. I know it was stupid. James was straight and he had a mate, but I wanted Sam to look at me that way. I looked down at my scrawny body and knew that was never going to happen. I had tried to work out to get buff and it never worked. I could eat as much fatty food as I liked, and I never put on any weight. I was doomed to stay scrawny for the rest of my life. As soon as James finished the track James came over to us with a stupid grin on his face. I knew that he was just happy that he got to prove Sam wrong, they both carried on talking oblivious to my burning jealousy. I was so lost in my own thoughts that I had zoned out to what they were talking about. Suddenly Sam looked at me with a confused look on his face, was he wondering what he was doing with me and wishing he could be with someone like James instead. I quickly started listen again and he

Chad’s POVI don’t know why but I was feeling anxious about tonight, like something bad was going to happen. I knew that I was going to have to act like I didn’t like Jill, maybe she was going to hear something, and we would go back to her hating me. I decided to get a moment alone to talk to her before I left to get ready. She was fine knowing I might need to talk bad about her though. The only thing she was worried about was me flirting with someone else. Since she would be the only female there tonight she did not have anything to worry about. After she kissed me and told me to keep it in mind so we could finish it when we got back, I should have felt excited instead I flet dread like it was not going to happen. I acted fine for her and went back to the dining room to get the boys. As I was walking past Meg she pulled me to the side.“Just a warning that no matter what happens tonight you need to trust Jill. She is strong and she can handle herself”“What is going to happen? I have

Chad’s POVShit Jill looked like sex on legs, I was holding on to the bar to stop myself from walking over to her. I noticed the looks all of the other Alpha’s were giving her. Some were of anger and disgust while others were pure lust. I noticed Brad walking onto the stage, and I suddenly felt bad as I realised I never spoke to Jill about the council. Hopefully she had linked in with Steve as he would be able to answer any of her questions. Brad demanded the attention of the room.“Thank you everyone for coming, it has been brought to our attention that Alpha Aaron is no longer among us, and his daughter has now taken over as Alpha of the pack”The room exploded with anger, even the men who had been ogling over Jill were not happy about her being Alpha. I suddenly felt worried for her and started to make my way over to her. James and my dad both put there hands on me to stop me.“She can handle herself son, lets see how this plays out before you jump in” I was about to tell him what

Steve’s POVMan, this was awesome, I could see her watching Chad walk into the hotel. Then when she noticed him at the bar and walked to the other side of the room. It was so cool, I could hear the comments that the other Alphas were making just like she could. This was so much better than her wearing a wire. I was shocked when Jill had no idea who Brad was, we would need to fill her in on the council when we got back. When Brad advised the reason for the meeting the room went up in an uproar. The other Alphas were not happy to have a woman as an Alpha. Man, these guys were still living in the stone age. Brad then invited Jill on to the stage to explain what happened and how she became Alpha. I was grinning just as much as she was when she walked up waving at everyone who was glaring at her. It was hard to believe that this was the same timid girl that I met less than a year ago. She had grown so much, and I loved who she had become. My hands were itching hoping that sh

Chad’s POVI finally got away from Rick and went to look for Jill as soon as I got outside I noticed that her car was gone. My dad came up behind me and patted me on the back. “Did you men follow her?”“Yes they are following her, they will let me know when they stop. What do you want to do?”“We should return to Jill’s pack, I hope that Jill is still linked to Steve. I hate the thought of her been alone after everything that has happened to her”“Then lets return and find out” We walked over to my dads car and the driver opened the door for us. The drive back to Jill’s pack was silent. James kept giving me a worried look, I think he was expecting me to snap. I admit I wanted to, but like Megan said I needed to have faith that Jill knew what she was doing and that she would be ok. When we arrived at the pack Charles looked at me with guilt written all over his face. I did not hesitate and j
