Augustus' P.O.V. "Where is he?" I asked Ares, looking for Damon. "He'll be sitting at the table beside us. Don't let him rile you up. Just eat your food and ignore him. You can't help Jesse if you're suspended or, worse, expelled." He warned me. "I hate that guy." I murmured. Just as Ares said, Damon appeared at the table beside us. He scanned the seats for Jesse, looking a bit upset when he didn’t find her. It made me smile a bit to see his disappointment. He doesn't deserve her. Ares hadn't shut his visions off. When we were younger, he didn't know how to shut them off, and he'd have them on all the time. It was annoying as hell when he knew what I was going to do before I even did. He was so cautious about everything he did back then. It was making him this shell of a person. Eventually, his grandma Ramona showed him how to turn it off when he was 6. Ares’ P.O.V. I tried to read Jesse’s lips, but she turned her back on me so I couldn’t see what she was telling the girls. I was surprised she had agreed. Augustus was pacing before us, biting at the side of his thumb like mom does when she’s anxious. Gabriel was now sandwiched between Liam and I. The bench was too small for two werewolves and a seer. My ass was barely hanging on to my seat.  “He did what?!” Nova yelled, sounding the angriest I had ever heard her. The two kindest werewolves I know both growled beside me. They had heard what Jesse had told the girls. Liam looked outright furious. Gabriel’s eyebrows furrowed in contemplation. He was clearly upset as well.  “What? Augustus' P.O.V. "Help find Jesse. Damon's here somewhere." I got Ares' shadow message, making my blood run cold. I was already pissed at Nova for grinding against my brother like that after just kissing me yesterday. What is her problem? Is it him that she has been wanting, and I was just some consolation prize? I pushed those thoughts aside, scanning the dance floor for those stupid silver streaks of that as/shole. I searched for Liam next, expecting Jesse to be with him. I found him easily. His large stature and reddish blonde hair gave him away easily, only he wasn't with Jesse. I tried finding her shadow, but it was still closed off. I know she does it to keep away from Damon. I looked for Damon's shadow door next, but he closed it off too. He had to be with her. Ares' P.O.V.  I stared down at Damon on the floor, wishing I really could just kill him. I looked at him like the roach that he is.  "You got something on your pants there." I need to get better with my visions. I could have prevented the whole thing. I promised her I wouldn't let him get to her, yet he did. I broke my promise to her the very same day I made it. I was pissed at him and myself. I began to travel out, feeling a small hand on my wrist as I did. I had a tag along, it seemed. I turned to find Andy there.  

Augustus’ P.O.V. I traveled to my room without a word the moment I saw the sun shine through the window. I had a damn pain in my back from trying to sleep beside broad shoulder Ares. That bed was too small, and I really should have just slept on the floor. Still, I woke up with a smile, because I hadn’t felt this close to my family in a while. I think mom is doing better now that she isn’t trying to decipher messages in the sky. She was turning into a mad woman, training us hard, scared of losing us. I think having us in this academy has shown her that we are okay without her. I grabbed a simple t-shirt and some jeans, and went to take a shower. “Augustus, right?” A small girl with white hair and neon blue eyes stopped me before I could reach my destination.
