Ch. 35 Nova
Nova's P.O.V.
I invited Manny to come with us when we decided to make it a group thing. He texted that he was already out, to my surprise. I honestly worried that I was his only friend. He told me they were at a new bar that was lax on the whole IDing to drink. He gave me the address inviting us to meet him there with his friend.
I was curious enough that I mentioned it to the others. Jesse jumped at the idea. Apparently, Ares was the only one of us that didn't have a fake ID. Even Andy had one. Ares really needs to let loose more. I couldn't believe how quickly he was willing to leave his visions open for his sister. It shows the kind of man he is. While Augustus, over here, just offers to mess with her bully more. I don't see how having Damon's attention on him would help much.
I fell in love with the wrong brother. Stupid heart.

Jesse's P.O.V.*Trigger Warning*"I'm going to the restroom. Wait for me here?" Liam whispered into my ear. I nodded, smiling like the love sick teen I am. I tried to fight it back, but I couldn't. Ares' P.O.V.I stared down at Damon on the floor, wishing I really could just kill him. I looked at him like the roach that he is."You got something on your pants there." I pointed at his flaccid d*ck. "Oh shi.t is that your pen*s?" I squatted down, pretending to get a better look at it. "My bad man, thought you had a little bug on you. Augustus’ P.O.V. I traveled to my room without a word the moment I saw the sun shine through the window. I had a damn pain in my back from trying to sleep beside broad shoulder Ares. That bed was too small, and I really should have just slept on the floor. Still, I woke up with a smile, because I hadn’t felt this close to my family in a while. I think mom is doing better now that she isn’t trying to decipher messages in the sky. She was turning into a mad woman, training us hard, scared of losing us. I think having us in this academy has shown her that we are okay without her. Jesse’s P.O.V.I saw Augustus travel out quickly, leaving a sleepy Ares on the bed. Ares' hair was sprawled all around the pillow with his neck in a funny position. I am sure he’ll wake up with pain and a cranky attitude because of it. He was not a morning person, so I decided to leave as well, not wanting to deal with his morning bitterness. Ares P.O.V.I woke up expecting to see Auggie and Jesse here. I honestly thought they would wake me, but neither of them did, and neither of them were anywhere in sight. They had silently slipped out at some point and I had no idea when. Futures began to play out before my eyes, only exasperating my headache. I groaned, rubbing the crick in my neck as I sat up. Nova’s P.O.V.It’s cheating, but I totally used my healing fire to get rid of the pounding headache this morning. After a quick shower I was feeling refreshed and ready for the day. I dressed in a burgundy red sundress that hung around my shins. It was flowy and light, which was perfect for this summer heat. Although, what I was doing today, I had no idea.
