บททั้งหมดของ Mated By Fate: Cursed By Magic: บทที่ 11 - บทที่ 20

As we drive through the woods, entering the clearing to our pack land, the sun is beginning to descend, casting bright hues to stain the horizon. We have been driving for hours, only making a pit stop here and there to get food or take a toilet break. Glimpsing in the rearview mirror, I cast a quick peek at Luna before I return my gaze to the front. She looks so peaceful, and angelic looking as she continues to sleep. The gentle cadence of her breath, punctuated by the occasional murmur, spurs me on to remain vigilant - to get her as far away from her mother as quickly as I can. She may not see it; I know Saffron sure as hell doesn’t, but she is our future. She is going to save our pack, and together we will break the curse bestowed upon us all. Just by Luna coming here of her own will, shows me that she is nothing like her evil mother. She has sacrificed everything to save our pack line, knowing that she will forever belong to us and that the life she once had, no longer

“Careful, darling,” Saffron hisses, gripping the roof of the Ute above my head. “I just might let you.”Licking my lips, I reel in my escaping breath as every fibre in my body hums. What the fuck was that?I have never felt pleasure that intensely before. As much as my mind wishes to royally screw Saffron over, my body craves to jump him and allow him to do whatever he pleases with me. Sexually. This is insane. I’ve known him for less than twenty-four hours, and I feel this magnetic pull towards him that has my heart racing fiercely in my ear canals. This pull toward him is a desperate need I can’t seem to control. It’s overwhelming, making me crave his touch.Straightening my spine, I press my forehead against his. “What was that?” I ask breathlessly, hating how close he is to me—reminding me of the pleasure that was currently surging through me.One corner of his mouth curls upward. “You like pain, darling, and I have a feeling that you and I are going to get along very well. I now

“Remember the last time you played with fire…” Blazes' voice repeats in my head like a broken record stuck in a loop. He’s right. I know he is and so does my wolf, but it doesn’t dampen the sick craving that bubbles in my gut to bring Luna to her knees in pain that quickly leads to arousal, lust and soon a sinful obsession. It wasn’t my fault what happened to Gloria. Shit…She is the one who introduced me to my fire and blood play kink. It’s a mild infatuation, but the excitement and thrill are there. I rub my chest as a dull ache thrums across my heart, and I can feel my wolf whimpering over the loss of our spitfire, Gloria. Her scent is still imprinted on me, and I fear Lunas will quickly overpower Glorias and make it a memory of what could have been if I had paid closer attention to what I was doing. The sensations of guilt, shame, and grief have been carefully crafted into a chest plate that weighs me down, never letting me forget the path of devastation I had created. I was na

I sigh with frustration as I listen to my father speak his mind. Standing in the far corner of the room, my father and I converse quietly, doing our best to keep our voices low and not disturb Luna, who is still unconscious. “It is now up to you to make the hard decisions to see our pack to victory, son.” My father mutters sternly. “Alpha Azra appointed you because he saw something in you that the elders in the high council fail to see. I stand with Azras’ decision, but for the life of me, I cannot understand why you and your insubordinate sidekick would take off the way you did after Lily gave birth. She needed you — she needed us all. Whispers linger in the shadows, suggesting that you and Saffron hold the key to the mystery surrounding Azras' demise. They will spin tales suggesting that you sought vengeance on behalf of your sister for Azras' quest to uncover his true mate, and he died by your hands.”I bite down on my molars as I digest what my father has said to me. I know he me

Unrelenting agony sears through the tips of my fingers as my nails fractured from my frantic attempts to claw my way through the door. My palms are sensitive to touch from all the hammering I've done against the door. Desperation lingers in the air as my cold and clammy flesh is covered in goosebumps. The misery and grueling sensation of me being pathetic drives me to bang my head against the door over and over and over again. The uneven surface claws at my forehead, and after what feels like an eternity, the warm trickle of blood paints my brow line to my cheeks. I release one more gut-wrenching scream, giving it my all. Even though it feels like razor blades slicing away at my throat, I don’t give up until I am out of breath. If I don’t die from sheer terror in here. I will die by the hands of another. The hands of the man my mother wishes to give me over to. Why? Why is she doing this to me?I am her daughter, her blood, and this is what she does to me. Her desire to ruin th
