I shifted my attention to the empty plate in front of me and jagger, slapping down my pavé au poivre. It was not a particularly impressive plate- a hunk of meat, fat-fried potatoes piled carelessly to one side. But something happened as I sliced the first bite- no resistance, none at all. The knife slid through the meat; the thinnest layer of crusty brown opening to reveal a pulpy red heart. I watched as the pink juices puddling into the buttery pepper sauce." Hey, guys Why are you sitting so carefree like that? Did you not hear ma'am went into jasper's room and what we are going do before ma'am found out he wasn't in his room." Emily said which shift everyone's attention to her." Where is he?" I asked her." Do you care to know?" Benny taunts me and I don't know what this guy's problem was with me. I was the one who got attacked by his brother and he was still showing me the attitude. This is bullshit." Benny, stop it! it's not the right time to bite each other off. We have got a

squeezed my eyes shut because the amount of light spreading inside the room was too much to bear for my eyes. A few seconds passed, and Emily tapped on my shoulder to open my eyes as I opened my eyes I was left speechless to see my wounds completely healed, and not even a scar was visible on my knee." How did you do that? I can't believe my eyes, is this real or an illusion?" I asked her and hesitantly touched my knee and find it wasn't an illusion. It was real. I looked up at Emily and she was grinning by looking at me." No, it's not an illusion trust me. And well, as you can see I can heal things not everything exactly but the living being or living things such as plants, animals, and sometimes wolves," she said." You mean to say, you are a healer. And this is your special ability."" Yup, you are right,"" Wow, you all are so cool and I am not that special like you guys. I wish, I could be like you guys so I don't need to be afraid all the time and I can protect myself from dang

Disbelief held me down inside my footsteps, making my body heavy but my heart wild. I watched Jasper in disbelief as he turned around to face the small window again. He was looking for something out there and I found myself still in shock how could someone want to kill me? I didn't do anything wrong with anyone. And who could be that? Jasper wasn't going to tell me because he looked equally frightened as I am. But what was the reason for telling me this right now? when I can't do anything because I am chained up in this house by my aunt and my father." What was the reason for telling me? what do you want me to do? just wait for you to kill me." I asked him in frustration. He swirled to face me and said, " You need to leave tonight"" You can't even imagine How much I want to leave this place but I can't do that because my father doesn't want me back. He sent me to the aunt only to suffer which I am currently living in suffering, fear, and now in trauma."" Why would any father do tha

Go! Go! before she returns from my room." he gives me an order and I don't know why he thinks that I am going to take his order." Why don't you go first? and then me."He looks at me in a way that he will take no time to rip me apart and I was just scared the hell of him but what he did next was completely unexpected for me." Fine! I'll go first and you come down a few minutes after me so nobody could see us together."I nodded my head in agreement and not asked him too many questions because I can see he was getting irritated by my question. He turns around to face, I mean backward to step down on the old broken ladder which was saved according to Jasper and I highly doubt it. I hold the ladder for him so he could not fall. And I can't believe I am helping my killer.Step by step, he finally reaches down and looks up at me, and gives me a thumbs up.Exactly, just then after aunt Fiona stepped out of jaspers' room and see him standing at the bottom of the ladder, looking up." Jaspe

When aunt left with Benny, Jasper walked towards me and he just grab me by my forearm and said, " Come on, Aisling you need to help me out."I was mortified by him and don't know where he wants to take me and kill me. I don't know whether should I trust him with my life or not but if he wants to kill me he could kill me in the attic he didn't do it which means he genuinely does not want to me or at the very least I can only hope for it.He gives me a nudge to move. And I took a breath and tried to stay optimistic. We both walked together to my only favorite place in this house...Everyone has a place where they go to escape all the pressures and worries of life. A place that makes them happy. There is always that one spot that can soothe all your problems and troubles in times of stress. For some, the woods, the beach, or the park is the place to go. For me, it is simpler. I go to the library to cure all my problems to calm down and feel happy. A library is a quiet place. Not church-q
